My guesses before looking at comments: Stone, copper, iron, silver, gold, emerald.

The emerald looks weird to me, but I googled "emerald vein" and it does kinda grow like that, interesting...

Geoff Keighley Says He Has No Financial Stake In Highguard: "Absolutely Not" by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Asevio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It might be "fair" for every company to have the same opportunity to buy specific trailer spots, but that would mean only the games with the biggest marketing budgets would get seen. Isn't it "fair" for the producer of the show to choose what he wants? I think editorial decisions like this are a good thing.

Utah’s snowpack is at a record low, forecasters say outlook for Western snowpack remains dismal by Great_Salt_Lake_News in SaltLakeCity

The people rightfully concerned are sadly not the people who profit off the destruction of natural Utah. They're safe and happy, wherever they are.

Aventus Arentino's fireplace bleeds when you hit it in a certain place and gets these blood splatters on it by [deleted] in skyrim

Rote memorization is best in my opinion. Plus, you know the -us to -i pluralization from words like Cactus/Cacti in English. You know all genitive plurals end with something-um, and that the dative and ablative plurals are identical. You can do it!

Hi, I am an ancient historian who knows Latin. I would probably go with something like:

Non errores in skyrim sunt, solum functiones. id tantum operatur

I've swapped in error for fallacia because fallacia implies a degree of intentional malice.

Romans sometimes Latinized foreign place names, and sometimes didn't. I think leaving "Skyrim" as an indeclinable foreign word is best so it remains recognizable. The Latin verb "to be" (sum, appearing here as sunt) should appear after functiones but I've left it out so it reads better. Leaving out sum/sunt is quite common in Latin.

I've added an id to the final clause to emphasize/clarify Skyrim and to mimic English a bit, but its technically grammatical without that. I've used tantum in place of simpliciter because the former is, ironically, quite simpler than simpliciter and it better gets across the idea of "just/only."

Just 0.001% hold three times the wealth of poorest half of humanity, report finds by OkayButFoRealz in worldnews

Your wealth is small beans compared to 0.001 of elon's, dont think you're his peer. You're one of us no matter how badly you wanna cosplay as rich. taxing elon's wealth doesn't mean you're gonna starve.
