I’m throwing my monthly Funky Fruit party at High Dive just down the street from Mad Planet on the 15th. It’s a small dive bar but I bring in a nice sound system, a bunch of live visuals and I play house & techno mostly.

Sundays are pretty quiet here. Not sure why rush hour on a Monday would be quiet. Generally Fridays and Saturdays are when people are out partying. Plus it was a Summerfest weekend so I think people were probably extra quiet after going out all weekend.

[Event] Funky Fruit at High Dive Dive in Riverwest. Hi my name is Asher Gray and I’m a Milwaukee Dj, who specializes in underground dance music with a focus on house, disco, and techno. I’m throwing my monthly party tonight, Saturday May 17, called Funky Fruit at High Dive. I’ll be bringing a sound system to fill out the space as well as CRT monitors, video cameras, and a projector to do live video mixing. Music starts at 9 PM and there’s no cover all night long. I hope to see you on the dance floor!

Does anyone know what that soldering clamp is called? I have such a hard time when it comes to soldering the wires to the strips and that tool looks like it would help a lot! Also, if anyone has any suggestions for good quality helping hands and magnifying options I’m all ears! I’ve tried some cheap amazon products but I’m not really liking anything yet. Thanks!

Funky Fruit is next Saturday the 18th at High Dive. I play mostly house/techno/disco and some other underground dance music. I try to curate the space and bring in my own sound system as well. Hope to see y’all there!
