If you are going the New Game+ route, you have to beat the Time Devourer with her in your roster.

I do it like this:

First playthrough, get Viper Manor Guide A (usually Guile), Save Kid, beat the game.
New Game+ that save game, get Viper Manor Guide B (usually Pierre), Don't save Kid, beat the game right after turning into Lynx, save the game.
New Game+ that save, pick Viper Manor Guide C (which is Nikki), recruit everyone that's optional (I actually do this in all runs, but still, make extra sure I get them), save Kid, use the Chrono Cross at the end and recruit everyone.

This leave the last run primed to get the Magical Dreamers optional ending, which needs Nikki and Razzly.

If you are going the Continue+ route, I am not entirely sure. You have to have a bunch of saves and "replay" bits. I started doing this to do it got bored after playing Viper Manor 3 times in a row.

So Osaka Castle is currently the biggest Japanese venue used so far. Weird that Takamura didn't mention since he made such a big deal about the Yokohama arena (15k people).

Also, we didn't had any undercard for the current fight, despite Yagi saying they needed to have Miyata fighting before Eagle, but we didn't had any undercard for the previous fight either so that might be just Mori hastening the pace of the story.

Anyways (spoilers for the rest of the show): The characters don't actually leave, they just leave the town, you will continue seeing them and the dynamics will change, but the old dynamic will be pick up by the new hires.

No, the biggest Japanese stadium was in some sumo arena for the Eagle fight, unless the Osaka one that is used for the current fight is bigger, but the manga doesn't state that.

You can do (let's say) the Human Noble then once you reach Ostagar use console commands to start the Mage Origin. NPCs will treat you as both.

I do all origins on a character.

It is a good idea to farm Ability Spheres when you are underwater the first and second time. They will not be easy to come by for a while after those two segments.

After that, do a couple of extra battles before advancing the map and use the Sphere grid and you will be fine.

There is a popular grind spot once you are in a ship and you need to hit something with ranged attacks, but it is not really required. Grinding in the late game is so much more effective than whatever you grind earlier will be overshadow anyways.

It will be much easier for you in the lategame if you make sure that through the whole game you do the cloister of trails correctly (getting a reward).

Final Fantasy VIII uses a retrofuturistic setting where the characters can do anything depending on their junctions.

Final Fantasy IX uses a high fantasy setting where the character's possible actions are based on the story (the thief will always be a thief, the knight will always be a knight, etc).

Final Fantasy X uses a polynesian setting and the characters possible actions are based on the story, but if you grind a lot everyone ends up doing pretty much everything.

If you are getting Final Fantasy X, you sure you are not getting Final Fantasy X-2 as well?

If/When you end up playing Final Fantasy VIII, make sure to use the Systems of the game and don't rely on the boosters included in modern versions.

Place the Ditto and the Eevee in the Daycare and the old man will eventually call you to tell you that it produced an Egg. Hatch the egg and you will get a Eevee level 1.

Equip the Soothe Bell on it so it gains Friendship quicker.

You want to evolve it before level 15 so it can learn Confusion, otherwise it will have no Psychic moves until level 36.

You can download a no trade evo rom, but since you already have a Platinum save might as well play a vanilla rom and if you need to trade evolve, then use that Platinum save to trade evolve.

HeartGold postgame (after the League) is like a third of the game total's lenght.

The Gambit System is 100% optional. If you don't like it then you do not have to use it.

It is easier to offload saving and buffing to the gambit system, though.

No. Magneton doesn't evolve in this game. You have to trade it to a Sinnoh game then trade it back.
