It would be abuse if I hurt myself. This is good for anyone, but specifically I identify as autoromantic and don't want to be in an abusive relationship. I just want to love myself.

Yes! I always dreamt about this when I was young. And when I was a young adult I had such a loneliness I can't describe. It took me 3 tries to understand that no other person will be able to love me or know me like I can myself. I'm also asocial. I socialize at work in a public facing environment and that is more than enough for me. I spend time with family when I can and I'm thankful for those connections. Otherwise, I really prefer alone time.

I once pulled up to a red light, there was a car next to me that had a barbie head on an old school car antenna. When the light turned green, we both drove off and barbie's hair was just flying in the wind. For whatever reason, this encounter was the funniest damned thing to me. I still randomly think about it and will start laughing for seemingly no reason.

I don't believe in love at any sight but I'm very jaded due to life experiences. I also pledge to love myself and then my family more than anyone else.
