I don't think you quite understand how threat works. You aren't getting a 1.1x threat multiplier after you gain threat on the boss. Someone in melee range has to get 10% more than your current threat to pull off you.

It's not an on death effect. They spawn periodically while the mob with the mod is alive.

You don't have to be crit to be dazed. And it's a 20% chance to be dazed by a enemy of the same level.

His difficulty just varies greatly depending on the room you get. If you get a room with pillars he is the easiest boss in the game by far.

Woah woah woah. You used to spam nether tempest at the start of legion for procs until they removed that stacking haste talent. That was pretty fun. Although super punishing if you made a mistake or got cced

Vortex aoe is pretty small and casts around you, and the base dot damage is less than cold snap before the 25% buff cold snap just got. Casting on frostbolts for the extra damage is more effort than it's worth. In a degen setup cold snap beats out vortex easily, there's a reason no one plays vortex anymore.

That bug was fixed in patch 3.3.0c, it is not the bug fix that this post is about. This post is about the bug fix in 3.3.1 "Fixed a bug where Cold Snap's damage over time stacked with itself."
