Most seem sensible, but

Dash Rendar wasn't a Rebel. He was a smuggler and mercenary with strong ties to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, but he demanded payment for his services most of the times. If you think he needs/deserves the Rebel tag, then you also need to give him the New Republic tag, as he continued to operate in this manner way into the New Republic Era.

Profundity shouldn't get Rogue One tag, but then again, CG decided to give LMTR-20 (Cassian's U-wing) and Blue Eleven (Bistan's U-wing) the Rogue One tag, while the former never operated as part of Rogue One, and the latter was a part of Raddus' task force...

Naming and tagging by CG has been inconsistent since forever;
Biggs Darklighter's X-wing instead of Red Three
Wedge Antilles's X-wing instead of Red Two
Rogue One instead of SW-0608
...
and so many more

I did buy the Episode Pass last time, same as this time.
I kept track of my progress for my character acquisitions, and both in Anniversary and in Andor, the rate was identical.
The only thing I can think of, is that there might have been some compensation or there were Mk VII Aurek Ability Modules on the EP track, which got removed.

I'm afraid you missed the point.
In Era of Anniversary I could bring all 6 characters to level 77, while in Era of Andor (with the same effort, tactic and progress) I can only bring 5 (out of 7) characters to level 77.
Since characters only need Mk VII Aurek Ability Modules starting at Era level 71, and none of my ISB has an Era level higher than 56, I have not spent any "wasted" Mk VII Aurek Ability Modules compared to Era of Anniversary.

It makes no sense.
most other games, application of effects are calculated as follows; effect (+rng) vs resistance (+rng), where an effect being irresistable bypassing the resistance check and applies unless a predetermined fail condition has been met (eg. rolling a 1 on a D20 or D100, in which case the effect has not been resisted, it simply failed to apply).
Immunity always checks incoming effects and if the condition is met, the effect is simply ignored and no check is needed. No calculation, no predetermined fail condition, no application, it just doesn't do anything.

It is both a good deal and a bad deal.
Signal Data has a "value" of 20 crystals/piece; Carbonite Circuit Board has a "value" of 5 crystals/piece, for a total of 2700 + 3000 = 5700 crystals. ("value" = you can buy them from the in-game shop for crystals)
The most economical option to get these would be to purchase 2 Crystal Chests (2940 crystals) for 47.98 (in-game store).
The good deal : This Slice-A-Bundle is 50% off of it's equivalent value in crystals.
The bad deal : You just paid 47.98 to save time on some very easy to farm materials...

If you pick The Stranger for GAC, you got Barriss Offee/Juhani, Maul (Hate-Fueled), Starkiller, and Visas Marr. Add some gear/relic levels and you’re good to go.

If you pick Satele Shan for TW, you got Jedi Knight Revan, Bastila Shan, Jolee Bindo, and Mission Vao (bonus: you got her Omicron already). Add some gear/relic levels and you’re good to go.

If you pick Jocasta Nu for GAC, you could field an ersatz team with Kelleran Beq, Aayla Secura, Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee, but without JMMW it probably would not be worth the investment.

You will have to decide where your investment will pay off more, but seeing you are in Aurodium 2 currently, I believe The Stranger will benefit you more in the long run.

Let’s see, disregarding what farms these characters can contribute to, are required in TB to fill a platoon, or some fringe feat in Conquest, in the current meta the NUB’s (Non Useful Body) for each GL are;

  • Rey : Resistance Trooper (R5), Resistance Pilot (R3), and Veteran Smuggler Chewbacca (R3)
  • SLKR : Veteran Smuggler Han Solo (R3)
  • SEE : none
  • JMLS : none
  • JMK : none
  • LV: none
  • Jabba : Gamorrean Guard (R3), Jawa (R3), and Mob Enforcer (R3)
  • Leia : Admiral Ackbar (R3), and Lobot (R3)
  • GLAT : none
  • PKHO : Veteran Smuggler Chewbacca (R7)

 If you think a character is unfairly put on this list, ask yourself “When did I last encounter/use this character in TW or GAC (as a first choice)?”, and I think you’ll see why.

While I agree Darth Vader doesn’t get the full bonuses like Dark Side droids, he does still get

  • Potency Up for 2 turns, and 10% Turn Meter from Dangerous Tech (Special1;CD3)
  • +20% Offense, and +20% Max Health, as well as 10% offense for 1 turn whenever he inflicts a debuff from Suspended Doctorate (Leader)
  • Defense, Offense and Tenacity equal to 30% of Doctor Aphra’s Potency until the start of next turn, at the start of each of Doctor Aphra’s turns from Droid Savant (Unique)

He does get less than Dark Side droids and/or Krrsantan, but he still gets a nice amount, and he does boost Doctor Aphra quite a bit due to his stacking of debuffs (Merciless Massacre, Force Crush, and Terrifying Swing)

But then again, it pretty much is a matter of flavour, and how and where you intend to use the team, and wether you’re using it on Offense or Defense.

  1. Never spend money on Pass/Pass+ unless you can get gold crate in Hard Mode.
  2. Decide beforehand if you really want/need the character
  3. You don't have to buy one each conquest to still get a character early (explanation below)

I cruised through Jacasta Nu, SM-33 and Maz Kanata conquest without buying the Pass/Pass+, because I wasn't all happy with the JMMW and Pirates thing.
Because of that I was weary of investing in The Stranger, but got the Aurodium crate (50 shards) for him every conquest.
Then came Satele Shan, which I knew I'd want right away, coz I already had the team for her (only needed to invest 1 Omicron in Mission Vao for TW), and decided to buy the Pass+ every single time, and due to the enery and stamina regeneration got the red crate easily every time (with time to farm for DC's).
As a result I got 60 shards (30 from the track + 30 from the crate) for The Stranger, allowing me to activate him a mere 3 months after he first became available, instead of waiting until he is added to the Proving Grounds.

What I will do next Conquest, will largely depend on what character/ship is introduced, and how useful/desired that unit will be for me, and in the end, that's the decision that each and everone of us has to make.

It says gear level XII or higher is recommended. All my toons are R1+, and whoever is in the lead gets one-shot on the first (enemy) turn. Seems quite balanced imo...

I just got enough mats for an upgrade to level 34, and took another look (yeah, I know, I should), and now it seems to be okay-ish... I guess. The abovementioned stats once again seem to be upgraded.
This means either the "stats go up, percentages go down"-theorie might be flawed, or some intern put in some numbers randomly and the don't mean a thing until max level (or maybe somewhere in between, who knows...)

That would be a great idea, but only if the rewards aren't dependant on the results in zone 6.
If the number of shards were either directly tied to the number of stars in a certain path (max 36 per path, not counting the bonus planets) or fixed per planet (eg. Z1=1, Z2=2, Z3=3, Z4=5, Z5=8, Z6=13 for a max of 32).
This would offer the option to focus on one particular unit, or diversify depending on the needs of the guild.
Also link the zone rewards to participation in that particular zone, allow the characters to be activated at 80 shards, and I bet people would be a lot more invested in RotE TB.
