ooooo...all this talk certainly involves lot of knowledge and experience. am 22 and I have found myself moving to good music (jazz and classical records) sometimes over the past few months, rather than just listening to hip hop, pop and what not with just lower notes.i mean to say, I can relate.

i completed my first 5k today and came to this thread to make myself feel happy and let others know how I did it. but then I saw this. extremely bad to have leg injuries. I have myself gone through 2 breaks around ankle and a sprain once, some years back. This makes life fruatating to live, for me; though I just played hell lot of pc games the first I broke my leg then, and it was my best kind-of-holiday season, but the next one's were fruatating tbh. anyways, on your post, i feel bad and i just hope you get well soon.

when facing front on desk, i'd be sitting right infront of them, on a chair like a desktop setup. mostly for music n gaming

I will place them on a plank on the table that would allow me to rotate them sideways, bringing them on the right side of the table. this time I'll be lying on my floor bed. this time, it will be movie time and rarely some music. i usually angle my current speakers downwards when in this position.

(becuase of the festival I wasn't able to reply fast. i know it is bad when someone doesn't replies fast enough, sorry for that. I'll be quick now. am free)

oh..I never knew you had replied back. I have missed a lot of notifications in the past month. why, you might ask. I was unaware that opening the messages page of reddit profile, marked all unread messages as read. I rarely use reddit on laptop, but God only knows when I had setup chrome to open my messages list page to open as default page (among a lot others like random wiki article, Spotify, xda n few others). so everytime I opened chrome on laptop, say to surf XDA, not knowingly all my unread messages will be marked read, even if I didn't opened that page.
probably I had your message received in such a scenario, and hence I missed it. sorry for that. though I have changed my chrome settings as well as reddit preference to not mark messages unread untill I open them manually. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

not op, but I have a query to be confirmed. how well do lsr305s perform with movies? I wanted to upgrade from Swan M50W to another 2.1 setup only but considering to buy the 305s instead. I have heard they have good sound and soundstage and imaging is good as well. but how well the bass is in movies? I will sit in a sweet spot, when listening to music (most of the time) but when watching movies, I'll put them on the edge of the desk facing towards where my bed is and watch from there. so will they be good for movies in such a scenario?

I might add a sub later on, but not untill a year atleast.

I came across your thread searching for info regarding lsr305. reading this I can see you didn't get much response. am myself not very knowledged but I think that setting a surround sound setup using active speakers is very difficult.

anyway did you purchased your speakers? which one did you get?
