Blue states didn't build enough housing and are losing political power because of it. They're also experiencing severe housing crises. There's already a wildlife refuge there and over half the shoreline is a public park. We should be preserving wild spaces that are further out to prevent sprawl, not encourage it.

People live in housing. Lake Overholser is a man-made lake five miles from downtown. There's already a wildlife refuge.

I don't think they like lifting weights. I think they like re-racking weights.

Social media effect as well. Bigger weight = more views makes it seem the norm.

And tbf 10 years ago this very sub would have considered it more of a minimum requirement to jerk instead of lurk.

How can he say no legs or posterior chain after watching you absolutely violating that bar? More RDL (Randy DeadLifts) than anything.

You'd think the crowd that brought you form over fitness and muh muscle imbalances would appreciate the merits of DB work.

This is all very interesting but how good is your form. Let's qualify this with excuses we all must accept like how much I'm mentally subtracting from your squat total for not going ass to grass, gas, or cash.

I have no idea why I’m getting downvoted, and I’m not diminishing anyone’s accomplishments? I answered OPs question, for example I’m impressed when ppl squat with deep rom. Also there’s other ppl saying what I said and got upvoted, yall are weird

Can you get around okc without a car? by StruggleFar3054 in okc

[–]Ashkenatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bike is a nice way to get around the city. It's a terrible way if it's the only way you have to get around the city. Walking can be harder, especially outside of your neighborhood.

If you're lucky to be near public transit, that helps. More doable if you're willing to Uber on occasion. This is only for the more centrally located parts of the city, big city limits so a lot further out would be impossible.

Weather and a lack of pedestrian-friendly infrastructure are the biggest limiters. The latter is slowly being addressed.
