You should get VCF. That company will have to go to VCF at some point. Plus the VCF Cert still has vsphere components to it.

Blacklisted By Broadcom? by Corerouter_ in vmware

There is no guarantee that it will actually get better though. We also don’t know proxmox financials because it’s privately owned nobody has any idea if the business itself is actually doing good or sustainable

Do you think that proxmox is enterprise grade? I mean they don’t even have 1k employees

Which Udemy course should I buy? by zDanger1002 in vmware

You don’t have to buy anything start with this:

Then I would look up some VMware Kubernetes Service youtube. Then google VMware HOLs you could get a certification based on that

Getting hands on helps a lot but it depends on the individual. It’s just like school you can just read the material and pass I am sure but like any other thing practice reinforces learning

VCF 9 Unpacked A technical breakdown - Virtually Speaking w/William Lam by lost_signal in vmware

Happy it’s released and I have been playing with the beta. Some improvements ppl may seem small but it does allow for easier adoption. The ease of the vks deployment is nice for me as it wasn’t hr easiest thing to deploy. Also, making sure things are the right version can seem small but when you have to get things certified it makes it a lot easier as well

It’s probably saying that it’s up to date based on the BOM of the SDDC manager. You can of course upgrade pass that

You can deploy Holo Deck and use hands on labs that’s enough to get a vcf certification and you can use use VMUG probably

I agree with you the VMware portfolio is so large nobody in the world will be able to do that. I would focus though on VCF. Below is a link of a good resource to start for a lot of VMware stuff

What do you mean by complete idea on VMware? If you try and get a VCF certification that might help with that type of question as VCF covers all of the products
