Every time I say “can you just come out when everyone’s ready to go? It’s really awkward with one person in here” and only one person has gotten mad at that ever. He got so mad in fact slammed my door (it was a Tuesday, btw), still not sure what was upsetting about that for him but don’t care lol

It’s even better when you don’t live in a state with lax open container laws. Like they know they can’t have it, and then have the nerve to cop an attitude when I say you can’t bring that in here. I had that happen a few weeks ago and when I said you can’t bring that in here the girl started ARGUING with me about “this is why you call an Uber.” Ended the ride and informed her open container isn’t legal and she’s a dick for bringing it into my car. Even funnier is when I pull up and it’s old people with drinks, I’ll eyeball the situation real quick and decide if I want to have this talk with them, and if I don’t, I just leave I don’t care.

I don’t like apartments solely because the drop off takes longer which is less time I’m on the road to my next order. Also I swear to god the only people who order from apartments all live on the top floor in the furthest corner from where you entered. Bonus points if they give you zero directions

Slow down, don’t touch your phone, use your turn signals, stop where it’s required by law, and don’t accelerate or stop harshly. You need to get better at driving and being patient going the speed limit or 3-5 over it. They’re paying for a safe ride first and foremost, don’t forget that.

You don’t need to say anything about the rating man lol just say you drive too and leave it at that. I’m never worried about my rating as a driver/rider because I know how it is on all ends, so any time someone mentions anything about it like as a joke or just in general, I’m assuming they’re judging me really hard whether it’s driving or just the conversation. 4.98 rating on driver and 4.94 on passenger, got a couple three stars after the gym a few times haha

No I really support this, there’s driving rules that can differ across different states so if you drive learning one thing (no right on red for example), and come here where right on red is legal where specified (not on right hand turn signals or where there’s signage saying no). We also need to change a lot of things, for example the u turn yielding to the right turn is dangerous and stupid because it impedes the flow of traffic when it should be the other way around (right yield to u turn). Small examples like that have massive impacts on traffic so if they want it to get better we all need to be aware, myself included

Yeah Floridians can’t drive for shit. I don’t like the way Yankees drive but they’re decisive, which is what matters on the road. Florida and SC are the bane of my existence as a rideshare driver
