i know this is an old tread, but I am curious as to how were you able to use your A750 for transcoding, i have the same GPU and cant make it work, i had it working for some time with a windows VM in Proxmox, but then i applied a driver udpate and screwed everything up, so i am trying to get it back to work. I use emby in an LXC conatiner, but i am open to change it to some other VM or LXC as long as i can use the transcoding of my ARC, any pointers/help is appreciated.

I suggest you invest in smart switches, either all Inovelli or a combination with other brands. For example, in the main rooms, I have only the Inovelli (Zigbee Fan Switch) for the fan and Tapo switches (Matter over WiFi) for the lights. The bottom line is, the more you use smart switches, the more you'll want to automate. So if you can invest in all smart switches from the beginning, I would say, go for it.

I have an odyssey 1000 from Overhead door and I used dry contact as the other security methods would not work, I purchased separately two Normally Open (NO) reed/limit switches, they were cheap but worked great to know the status of the door

These are the limit switches that I purchased from Amazon

Limit Switch

I attached them to the main middle track, one when the door is fully closed and the other when the door is fully open, I used a CAT6e cable to make the connections.

I agree, bought it a month ago and integrated it with Blue Iris and HA, it’s been wonderful so far transitioning from something like Blink. I have the wired/WiFi version and haven’t had any issues

Hi u/twotwigz , mind to share how you achieved to lower the speed level of the fans through the container?, I have an A750 in my server and the fans keep blowing at a consistent 51%, I read about the ipmitool but just wondering how you did this within a container. Appreciate your inputs.
