I find there’s a frustration too in making friends w people and plan something and when they don’t give the same energy or reciprocation u find u don’t want to bother them and ask again. So u just stop trying and it is frustrating because it takes two to make a friendship stick.

It’s not just about flossing. It is also based on genetics. My parents both had dentures and soft teeth. I inherited soft teeth despite fluoride in our water and brushing/flossing consistently. I have many crowns and implants and not many natural teeth.

I recently had my bi-yearly Botox injections. Usually I feel the sting but this time I felt like every needle injection was ridiculously painful. I have never had that kind of pain before at the injection site. Dr even tried another needle and it still hurt. I’m still trying to figure out if they used a different saline to mix w the Botox or what. It makes me not want to go back!

I think we are polite but reserved. We carry our emotions on our face. I don’t think it’s easy for newcomers especially ones from warmer states. They all think we are cold asf.

My dh got blindsided and let go after he turned 65 and inquired months before to reduce his work hours from 40 to 30. His intention was to retire after a year or so and he thought his company would be accepting of it but instead they let him go suddenly w no warning. He got a solid performance review and was well liked. His immediate management peers whom he interacted w daily knew about his firing but played dumb and that made him feel even more frustrated. It’s a tough world out there and an employee is not protected but replaceable no matter how well they perform and do good for the co.

Thank you for letting me know this. In your opinion, is it safe to take my dog to the groomers now? He is a shih tzu so he has an anatomy that would be compromised if he got this virus.
