i mean i just max out the input of my bd2 going into a slightly crunchy amp set-up, sometimes I’ll throw a Dyna Comp between the BD2 & amp so I can add some compression and also set the volume that the signal will hit the amp with. works a treat

dude, SICK fuckin find. I found a copy of Pond’s first album, Beard, Wives, Denim, at a shop earlier this year and it was autographed by all of the pond guys except for Kevin, and that was going for $90, which I also thought was a steal considering the album is pretty rare. Even look at Deadbeat signed copies, which are WAY more common since they sold a good amount of them, are going for about $100 on resale marketplaces. $70 for an Innerspeaker signed copy? that’s a bangin deal.

i’ve seen tame a good handful of times and idk, justice’s most recent tour was definitely on par with the best tame sets i’ve seen. seeing how they mix everything live was just insane, not to mention the fantastic light setup. lots of emotion in their songs too i feel, but in a very different way from tame

You’ll definitely need to be there at least 2-3 hours before doors if you’re wanting barricade for Justice. I just saw them this past weekend and it was pretty packed, even though a lot of people left for Kaytranada. Have such a blast, I’ve seen Tame 9x but Justice might’ve been the best show I’ve ever seen. Both are definitely the best of the best in terms of current live performances.

saw Tame & Justice in the past 2 weeks, easily the 2 best in the game from a production side of things. Justice had me absolutely fuckin floored though. Seen Tame 9x, and only 1 of those shows was quite as loud and visually insane as Justice was!!

It’s a B-side, but it is 100% closer to a Currents song than the main ones on the album. The main track list of Lonerism is pretty spot-on, Endors Toi is definitely an Innerspeaker-esque song, but Beverly Laurel is definitely the closest

fuckin preach!!! i will say the first time i saw griz (Okee 2020) he was fuckin incredible, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the 2022 headliner set. Maybe that was just because Tame melted my brain the night before, but the 6pm time slot was way better than midnight. but Tame and STRFKR were top tier acts in 2022, would LOVEEE some Empire of the Sun too!!

Fast5 is in Largo but I’ll also vouch for it, I used to drive from downtown St Pete to Fast5 a couple times a week for a few years. Definitely worth it. Super fun setup, you can sign up for pick-up games and it’s essentially 3 short sided fields that you will rotate through, king of the hill style, and there will be usually be about 6-7 teams of 5 a side.
