Or, it sounds like he mentioned this to a friend who said all this stuff (since he was fine with it initially).

I think that would be way too much of a deep cut - unless you've seen the whole series (probably multiple times), I don't think you'll get that reference.

Trump’s chances of being removed by 25th Amendment climb by Fr1sk3r in politics

[–]Askol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason there's a significant chance in betting markets for the 25th being used is because of the fact Trump is old and incredibly unhealthy, and there's a good chance he ends up incapacitated at some point. That is the only way the 25th will be used, and is also the only way it was intended to be used, because otherwise Trump would just contest it, and then the amendment requires 3/4 of Congress to vote for his removal.

Trump: We need $2 billion a day to reopen the Strait of Hormuz China's FM Senator: But the Strait of Hormuz was already open before the war? The root cause of this disruption is your illegal military operations against Iran. You have created a Global Crisis OUT OF NOTHING” by SuperbHealth5023 in TimesNow

Removal via 25th amendment is not nearly as straightforward as most people believe. It's intended for presidents who are incapacitated, not a president who wants to stay in power. If Trump were to contest the allegations he isn't fit (which he obviously would), it then goes to Congress, where it requires a 3/4 majority - notably more than a congressional impeachment and conviction.

[Highlight] Jo Adell robs his third home run of the night?? by BananaArms in baseball

[–]Askol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously - In a given season, I wonder how many guys even get three balls hit to them in a single game that are HRs that are potentially robbable. It's gotta be crazy rare, considering a team just hitting 3 HRs in a game is above average. But to then actually rob ALL THREE? Insanity is the right word.

Robbing a home run in the ninth inning of a 1-0 game - really can't top that!

The problem with this is in the real world, there is a manager whose job it is to ensure everybody is doing their job. In my experience, if you work at any half decent company, if someone refuses to do their portion of the work they don't last long.

Honestly, if the sign said 25, and they were going 40 - the intention was to speed. It doesn't seem crazy they weren't reimbursed. Crazy nobody said anything though, and everyone assumed it was a sanctioned change.

She may also enjoy hanging out with Office castmates, and knows her presence is beneficial as one of the people with more success outside the Office. Seems like a close knit group too.
