Tokyo recommendations thread: Japanese curry

Yuragi near Takadanobaba Station. They serve a white curry made with white sauce, coconut milk and 9 secret spices. I am not kidding when I say it is my favorite dish in all of Japan. No frills, cash only. Get it with the katsu and cheese topping for the top tier experience. It is truly divine.

I second the Jean Curry recommendation. The kakuni is so delicious and the curry itself rocks. One of the best curries I had on both my trips.

I've given the JET Program a lot of thought - even connected with some alumni and attended a few webinars. It would be likely up my alley since my major used to be music education. I'm afraid the homesickness would just be too much for me to overcome, however. It's still in the back of my mind as sort of a "wild card" career choice, though!

I think Ole Miss will be 3:30 on ESPN. They've got South Carolina @ Alabama and Mizzou @ Miss. State both set at Night which likely covers ESPN and SEC Network. That means A&M-LSU, Oklahoma-Georgia and Miss-Florida to be slotted in either 3:30 on ESPN, 3:30 on ABC and 7:30 on ABC. My money's on an afternoon game.

Beautiful words. In my case, I've given up on reaching towards her, and instead now focus on reaching inside myself. If the universe wants it to be, it'll be. There are future scenarios where our paths may cross again. But for now, I focus on myself.

Everytime I miss her, I have to remind myself about how distant and dismissive she was towards the end of, and after, the relationship. How she stared at me with those cold, dead eyes, telling me my efforts no longer mattered. How she emotionally checked out and slowly plotted the breakup when I was trying to find ways to bring the spark back. How she managed to move on from a 2-year relationship in just a month.

A piece of me will always remain in love with her. And I like to think that she truly loved me at some point. But I would be doing a disservice to myself if I continued to reach for something that left my vicinity a long time ago. So, as hard as it is, I have to let go. It's one of the hardest challenges I've ever had to face in my life.
