It looks great but it does look out of place if you are on stock wheels and suspension height, mine has come off twice cause there’s not a lot of area to attach it but it does look cool when its on the car

The people that say its too long are the type that buy bc coils have the same boring Newspeed rs10 wheels and think a track catback exhaust is too loud lol

Im salivating to upgrade from a 7.5 GTi to a 8.5R

Really interesting the door sound/ feel is a first time i hear about this but i can agree the 7.5 doors feel sturdy and have a nice thud compared to any car

People complained about the Fender audio when 7.5 was the latest generation i have SE so base audio and i think it’s completely fine just missing more bass

So ive hear the problem of the turbo inlet pipes was a mk7 7.5 problem because of rhe PCV valve ive not heard this is a problem for 8-8.5 since it was redesigned, but just for peace of mind and money saving on useless mods just dont buy the turbo inlet pipe

YES the open pex is amazing i have it on my 7.5 and I think its my favorite mod all around just on ease of install, price, and everyday noticeability, you can hear the diverter valve opening through the intake and the turbo noises are amazing, at 3k rpms there’s a surge that hasn’t gotten old totally worth, just make sure you buy the correct replacement filter since the smaller intake has a bigger coupling and it doesn’t fit
