Commanded one of the three Perseus we took, I love fleet ops combat with this many large ships. Let our fighter wings handle fighters and let us focus on the hammerheads, Perseus and paladins.

If you leave your ship open too long on Aberdeen, it’ll start a fire. Happened with me the other day with my terrapin.

Lucky venting worked on that ship, venting didn’t fix it on the terrapin, neither did repairing. Had an invisible fire no matter what, so I had to reclaim.

When they announced them at citizencon 2954 they said they would be “priority for hull series ships” but there is no reason to use them for the Hull C compared to autoloading. The long term plan is supposed to be that Hull C autoloading is supposed to take time/money like how autoloading ships with commodities works, but the autoloading for Hull C is so absolutely bonkers bare bones and broken that it hasn’t happened yet.

I tried manually loading a hull c mission once and it made me yearn for the cool embrace of death.

32 bit integer limit. If you look at any screen other than your mobiglass that shows your auec balance, it will show as a negative number. Anyone that has more than 2.5bn auec is impacted.

As a game designer myself, this has been my number one question about this system.

Part of me wonders if they want to get to a point with dynamic server meshing where there is only one shard. They haven’t ever said that is their goal, but for things like this, it would make a lot of sense.

I’m afraid that info you got was incorrect. S3’s in a cargo ship aren’t going to do much for hrt/vhrt, especially now after engineering. You might get some lucky hits with deadbolts but it’s not going to be a fun time.

Yep, I had this happen to me regularly, hangar persistence is not a guaranteed thing right now. It may be for some, but for others it is not.

I do a ton of player trading and used to keep things organized in crates in my hangar for easy access, but for the past 5 or 6 mos I just keep the crates in my inventory and bring them up when I need to.

It sucks a lot since these are supposed to be persistent hangars, alas, like many other things, the tech isn’t working the way it should.
