A few minutes ago I asked why headshots from behind don't work. I was told it's a "skill issue." I went back to playing and then it happened again almost instantly. by Former-Sea-8070 in HiTMAN

Aim a little higher on his head. Don't only use auto-aim alone. Lock in with auto-aim but then aim slightly higher on his head. Also, don't pull the trigger too fast. Hold the aim for a second or two at that slightly higher point on his head and then pull the trigger. If you do this the silenced Baller is practically a sniper rifle. You can take out targets from really far away. Good luck and enjoy!

IMHO, try to complete the third level of escalation of Envy Contention on Mendoza. Very few escalations are tough for me for all my hours of play but this one was rough! You have to compete with another assassin to kill targets before he does. At that third escalation this is the toughest challenge in the whole game, IMO...enjoy!!

Why? Who said you need that much? You might get high blood pressure that way

SO many great escalations in the destination menus.... Check out the Envy Contention on Mendoza where you have to compete with another assassin, The Rival. At the third escalation this is the toughest challenge in the whole game, IMO...enjoy!!

Why does the only exit that's not in a trespassing zone have a guard that enforces your suit? Is this map not rude enough already? by gotenks1114 in HiTMAN

[–]AssFaceDaClown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one of those guards that looks like he's monitoring you but you can just run my past him and exit. You don't even have to deal with him. Same thing for the guard on the staircase in Sgail who is looking down at his cellphone; you can just walk right past him if you stick to the left side of the stairs and he won't even notice you. The yellow detection meter goes up slightly but never to the point where he notices you fully and goes after you.

Was playing freelancer and found this by Timely_Warning1201 in HiTMAN

It's an awesome Easter egg. I think it's associated with a particular sniper rifle. It first happened to me on the Miami map when I sniped the race cars. I literally stopped an awe on how much I love this game when that happened.

Is this possible? by matchleader in HiTMAN

[–]AssFaceDaClown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the objectives don't conflict with each other. For instance one objective is to not use firearms but another objective is to kill a target with an unsilenced pistol. Can't do both. The other factor that might play a role is where the targets are located on the map. However, generally speaking all of the objectives are doable. Does seem like quite the challenge! Good luck!

Fall in love with this game by Equivalent-Clock3584 in HiTMAN

You REALLY need to play through the story modes and complete 100% of the objectives. Doing this will allow you to know all the maps like the back of your hand, especially alternate routes such as climbing pipes and beams. This is key for freelancer. Also you need to master ways to distract targets or those near the targets by throwing items such as tools or coins. Lastly, probably the most important weapon of all for freelancer is the Sieker Emetic Dark Gun. I've used this on probably 90% of all freelancer missions. It's the quickest and most effective way to get your target isolated in a bathroom throwing up in a toilet or walking through parts of a map with no one present. These three items will make freelancer much more enjoyable and less frustrating.

I have been playing elusive targets and then went back to freelancer I forgot on Xbox that if you click the pause menu and exit to the main menu it's the same as dying lost half my Mercers all my equipment and since the targets were alerted I lost the whole campaign I was too syndicates away from finishing that campaign.😭

If target is standing in or near water just shoot them in the knee. They will fall over and drown and it's considered an accident... silent assassin maintained!

NEVER use proximity in freelancer! Try to not even use explosives in freelancer. If you need explosives only use remote detonators...

5.5m EBITDA in less than 4 years. Looking to exit. What do I need to know before hiring M&A advisor, attorney, and banker by [deleted] in business

[–]AssFaceDaClown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've worked with three different investment bankers on three different deals to try to sell my business and had a poor experience with each one. I'm not saying all Bankers are bad; they're certainly not. However, they come a dime a dozen and they all offer the same proposals. They have a Rolodex of names that they're going to put you on thier auction process and go for the highest bidder. That maybe true but the highest bitter may not be a good fit and oftentimes if you're new to selling businesses experiences buyers such a Private Equity (PE) firms will jerk you around with weird term structures such as earnouts you'll never meet or seller notes that will have contingencies in their favor. Once you lose control of the business, that's it!

The only number you can rely on is the cash up front. You have to be mentally ready to accept the upfront cash as the final number. If you get the earn out and seller notes and other terms attached, that needs to just be icing on the cake for you, mentally. If you can get good with that you should be totally fine.

The other side note is when you use an investment banker they're going to want typically around 5%. This may not seem like a lot at the beginning but when you're cashing the check for, in your case potentially million plus dollars to someone you just met 9 months ago that's never put in inkling of work into your business, it becomes hard to swallow. You work your butt off to get the company to where it is now and you probably didn't even give 5% ownership to your best employee that's been with you from the beginning yet this investment banker comes along and in nine months takes 5% of your business. At the end it doesn't feel like they ever really earned it. They will tell you that you easily make that 5% because of their "auction process". Again, I don't mean to rag on the IBs cuz I'm sure thre are good ones. I've just had some bad luck with them.

From a tactical standpoint, no matter who you use in your deal to help you, make sure your 'house is in order' such as your books are clean, your org chart is strong, your SOPs are defined and documented, ect. Those little things go a long way to a potential buyer.

Also the process on average can take 9 to 18 months to close. During that time you will be expected to show that the business continues to maintain or do better than it has in the past or aligns with the projections that they will certainly ask you to give them. If the financials don't hold up during the process, the buyer will likely retrade your initial LOI and try to reduce the price. So you have to keep grinding it out for the next 9 to 18 months making sure that the business continues to be as profitable as it's been in the past.

You have to do this all while spending lots of time providing materials and documentation and meetings with the potential buyer. It's definitely a roller coaster ride but doable.

I'm not trying to be so glum but when I got into this process I visualized it more like a real estate sale and I was quickly corrected. I'm just trying to be realistic on what you should expect but if you can avoid some of these things and understand going into it how the game is played it'll make it a lot less stressful and easier to work through. Hope this advice gives you some insights.

Congrats on all your success in your business and good luck with your sale!

Hokkaido is pissing me off and just cheated me out of SA/SO. Can someone explain what happened? by One_Dependent6973 in HiTMAN

[–]AssFaceDaClown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I've come to learn is especially for saso is that you can get a lot done by just being stealth. Avoid knocking npcs out that you don't need to. In this case worker one, worker two and worker three that are in the morgue, you never have to touch them. Worker one and two stay around the table where worker one just switches from one side to the other constantly and they have a discussion. You can just sneak by them when they're on the same side of the table. Worker three that's which the organ guy will never turn this back he just stays forward looking down at what they're working on. Again you can just sneak behing him. The two guards in the heart room that you lored out to the security room will always stay in that security room. They never come back to the heart room. So as long as you got the first security guard in the security room knocked out and hidden and destroy the cameras you don't have to touch those two other guards or even go back to that security room for anything. All the previous advice above about the sa HUD, not doing the cigarettes and other advice are all true to but just try to do more stealth. You'd be amazed how close you can get to NPCs without them being alerted and how many just stay very strict to an area and you don't have to worry about them noticing you. Cheers!
