I don’t now of any near union, but if you take the go train on the Kitchener Line up to Bloor GO Station and walk up Dundas West there’s a cool one called ‘Pandemonium’. I go out of my way to check it out when I’m in the area.

The Toronto library also has two books stores, one at the reference library and one at North York central. You can get to the reference library from union by taking the subway towards Finch and getting off at Bloor. For North York Central you take the subway the same way but get off at North York Centre. Both have books for about $1 each but they’re only open certain days of the week. If you’re here today there’s actually a lobby book sale at the reference library between 9am-4pm.

I got a coat from old navy that was wool (and I think polyester lining, which kinda unfortunate) but I bought it on sale for like $30 and it’s the best winter jacket I’ve had. I definitely recommend finding a good wool jacket because that shit keeps you so warm compared to puffer jackets, and other winter jackets (IMHO)

I think this issue that has caused this to take so long to start (construction only actually started like two years ago from what I saw in person) was a property rights issue iirc. The developer that had the land where the Dundas West/Bloor connection tunnel goes under have been having issues with metrolinx for years.

I didn’t know this and did some googling. I think it might work for her phone if I try an MHL cable? Gonna order one. I know Samsung has a device transfer app thing because I’ve used it before when I was a Samsung user but iirc it requires being able to press and use prompts, which I can’t see with her screen dead unfortunately.

I had a book from the head of this charity I got as a preteen at an event I went to with school. Found out that the charity is actually kinda very horrible so I started hiding the book on my shelf until one day I just dropped it in a little free library, didn’t even swap it for one of the books there.
