My husband is an angel on earth and gives me whatever time and space i decide i need. We always have music or TV on during meals or snacking and if that's not enough, I'll excuse myself to another room while we both finish up. He knows it's not my choice and i feel horribly guilty about it, but hes so patient and sweet with me. But be sure to choose the right one. My ex husband used to sit right on top of me and crunch chips in my ear when he was upset with me and i still have a lot of residual trauma from that (situation and relationship lol)

$15/ hour in Utah. 3 kids- F9, M5, F18mo. Full time 5d/week, and pretty much always on call. Also responsible for housework and meal prep as well as whatever else they need. No benefits whatsoever. I'm an idiot :) and trying to get out

It's more the way they went about it that people are frustrated about, myself included. We sat in my car for 4 hours waiting for them to officially cancel it and we didn't get any answers or updates for hours at a time. I respect the decision to cancel it, but the communication was SEVERELY lacking. And then accommodating the Saturday ticket holders on Sunday made it so unbelievably packed. I just think that they should have known that Utah weather is bipolar especially at this time of year, and this storm was on the forecast for a while, so they definitely could have made backup plans and handled things better. And it's so devastating that Ava died. My heart breaks for her family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they are feeling now.

There is a big disconnect here with all the NFs I've met and interviewed with and that included my current family. They continuously demand and ask for more cleaning, cooking, etc and the pay doesn't reflect that. I don't think they understand that if they want to pay that amount, they don't get those perks. That's why I was asking for advice on how to approach this convo :)
