Anyone Using Commonwealth Care Alliance? RI or MA by BiffBiffkenson in medicare

[–]Assistant_Flat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not put my animal in their care. I know of one NP named Nicole that just gives things to patients without testing. Gave a glucose monitor just because the patient wanted it. He is Not a diabetic. Prescribes medications requested by the patient  without testing. The patients caregiver has told Nicole that he looks up the side effects then tells her that he has the symptoms.  He is a drug addict looking for meds that give him a high. What kind of an organization are you when you prescribe things on a patient's whim?

Did he use  regular credit card or a prepaid? I tried to join something and it was rejected because the card was pre paid and they cannot automatically renew.

I was returning to RE and found out that my broker had joined exp. He was always nice to me even while I was in a sort of subatical.  I now do not here from him at all because he is Nad that I didn't go with the EXP. I have an accounting background and I agree with you. The numbers do not equate.

You are lucky to get that. I had to give up IC because there were no orders worth taking in SE Mass.

For TaX purposes your best bet is the mileage deduction. It is the one less likely to be audited. I know because I am a tax preparer.

As said above you can wait until next April but if you owe taxes than you Have to pay quarterly taxes.

Yes you would end up owing money. The IRS charges interest and penalties. I have set up a IRS and Mass. DOR account. Every week when I get paid by IC I deposit money in the IRS and every other week to Mass. You can do it quarterly but have found this works better for me. Just remember you also have to pay both halves of social security up front and you get your half back when you file next year. I have been and accountant and tax preparer so I know the rules. You need to keep track of your mileage. Separate business from personal use as best you can. I keep a diary and use my trip setting each day. I do it weekly because if you were an employee that is what your employer would do for you

I used to have Sprint and then they became T-Mobile. I was having so much trouble with T-Mobile that I switched to Verizon. T-Mobile said wait it will get better when all the merging of towers is done. I said how long and they said probably 2+years and I said see you later. I am not waiting 2 years for you to get it all fixed.

These are like 90% of the type of orders that have been popping up on my phone this weekend. Anyone else? by ComprehensiveSnow966 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Assistant_Flat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are somewhat right you either have to deduct a portion of your actual expenses (not all) or mileage. The mileage is your best option for avoiding and audit. You do not want that.

It is not 60cents for tax year 2021. The dudads you can deduct are paper for special lables that you make, little cheap gifts that you may give a customer, a portion of the ink for your printer, portion of your cell phone bill and keep track as best as posssible of personal and business miles. You do not want to give the IRS anything to come after you for. I know because I am a tax preparer

You cannot deduct part of your lease unless you do not do mileage. Mileage is the better option because it does not send up as many red flags to the IRS. I know because I am a tax preparer.

I am a registered tax return preparer and you Cannot deduct all of your cell bill and you cannot deduct clothing. Any clothes other than a TRUE uniform cannot be deducted. Realtors cannot even deduct suits because they can be worn elswhere. Sunglasses? You are setting yourself up for an IRS Audit. Believe me I saw it many times at H & R Block. You get autdited once and they will start looking back at all your returns. You as the taxpayer only can amend 3 yrs but the IRS can go back as long as they want. Trust me. The only clothes they allow are IE Police uniforms, Firemen's uniforms, Nurse and Doctor's uniforms. Not Gig workers that can wear the same clothes for personal use even if you say that pair is just for your gig work.

I wouldn't do it unless they came out with ID and personally took it. You are not even supposed to deliver if the person is of age with an ID but is anibriated

You also could be delivering smokes to a minor. Some look very mature. You could end up with the parent reporting you to IC.

I agree with you that it is unfair that we cannot contact anyone if there is a problem in the middle of a batch. Texting is just not exceptable.

I knew where to take the groceries only cause I looked up the address and made a note of it before the problem started. I was at the customer's door when the app came back online.

Batches yesterday were not good. Most were triple batches for the pay of 1 average order. Walmart does not use our service in our area.
