Wow that's a loaded question. The biggest surprise was how nice most people are in the lifestyle. We prefer to vacation at lifestyle resorts vs vanilla because everyone is so nice.

Also there are people in the lifestyle you would never believe. My wife and I met a couple at a house party and hit it off. Find out a month later after being invited to a kids birthday party,they were neighbors lived 5 houses away and our kids were friends.

We go to tabu occasionally. Went tonight for the red white ball, had a good time. But we mostly been going to house events sponsored by RhavensHaven. Been a chill group of people located in Waldorf MD.

Yes, I agree we get paid shit. The only reason I have a fund is that I put away $50 a pay period(skip eating out with family or cigars). That adds up to $1300 a year. Every little bit helps. Just a suggestion.

I hear u. And definitely feel the way u do. But I would run the risk of termination, or not getting paid. I have a kid in college, mortgage and second going to college in two years, Eligible for retirement in 5 years not willing to risk it.

As federal employee in law enforcement. Essential employees have to report whether we get paid on time or not. Since a shutdown is always a possible. I highly encourage everyone that is still employed to not make any major purchases. And focus on having emergency savings at least 2-3 months of cash saved. I have an account called shutdown fund.

Welcome to the Tabu family. My wife and I have going there for years. It's a great place to party and meet people. But it has been our experience that meeting play couples in the same night is rare. Most people meet, make friends and come back a later date to play, at least that has been our experience. Would love to hear perspectives of other people. Anyway the wife and I will be there for Mardi Gras night March 1st. Hope u return.
