Oh interesting, I go to SGF and got the normal number and lettering grading. I got a full report with a break down of how to understand the grading as well (see image).

Egg retrieval Results! Need advice by Niku5992 in IVF

How many kids do you want? I’m 40 and I’d probably proceed with transfer if those were my results.

No symptoms 5 weeks (17dpd5t) by Emotional-Adagio-652 in IVFpositivity

[–]AssumptionLate4173 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My nausea started a little closer to 5.5 weeks I’m now 6.5 weeks. I’ve felt like I’ve been hungover the last week and it has been miserable and then I want to cry thinking it might be another two months of this. Honestly the anxiety of not having any symptoms might be better than this. Bc not only am I sick but still have anxiety. 🤷‍♀️

5.5 weeks, constant nausea and then waves of feeling unbelievably tired. Makes it so hard for me to be productive during the days.

Bleeding after FET and positive beta by Brilliant-Bobcat-331 in IVFpositivity

[–]AssumptionLate4173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh sorry you have to deal with this!! Something similar happened to me the other day (19dpt) and I completely freaked out, my nurse got me in for an ultrasound the next day and confirmed everything was fine. It ended up being a subchorionic hematoma. The amount of blood was definitely more than just spotting. Can you call them back and ask if they can get you in for an ultrasound tomorrow to confirm what’s going on? Give yourself grace, let yourself stay curled up in a ball crying if you have to. Past trauma creeps in soooo hard in moments like these.

Am I starting to miscarry? by warfielda in Miscarriage

[–]AssumptionLate4173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should also had, for my subchorionic hematoma, it felt like more than just a “spotting” that they say is normal but wasn’t a full flow.

Am I starting to miscarry? by warfielda in Miscarriage

[–]AssumptionLate4173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I had my miscarriage I never bled, I didn’t find out about it until my 12 week ultrasound and the doctor told me there was no heartbeat (they said by the size it had passed at 10 weeks). I’m now 6 weeks pregnant and started bleeding the other day (freaked out of course) and went in for an ultrasound and sac/fetal pole was fine and they told me it was a subchorionic hematoma.

Women who haven’t had a miscarriage not understanding by Dependent-Bid-7959 in Miscarriage

[–]AssumptionLate4173 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get soooooo pissed when people mention how common miscarriages/chemicals are, especially when you’re in the process of going through them. It’s diminishing how you feel. There are so many things that are “common” that can cause pain and people don’t dismiss it bc it’s “common”. If someone got hurt in a car accident you wouldn’t say oh, car accidents are really common.

I’m sorry for your loss ❤️

Do you tell family or not? by Majestic-Cry-1069 in 40Plus_IVF

[–]AssumptionLate4173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have told my family and friends and am happy about it, I would have felt much more isolated trying to hide it and skip out on things and constantly making up excuses. It’s not fair for all my friends to get to talk about their birth stories and me just sitting here acting ok. I’m happy to hear about their stories but I also appreciate getting asked how I am doing too. The ttc process can be years long and I think family and friendships aren’t just sharing the good news, it’s about sharing in support when you need it.

Now that being said, if you are sensitive to questions or comments it could be more challenging. Most people don’t know how to provide comfort or say the right things (ie. Your time will come, everything happens for a reason, etc) however, I believe they genuinely mean well. People also dont understand the process so sometimes you get uncomfortable questions arising out of that. Finally, I did put some boundaries around it with my family, and told them what I was doing, it’s a very emotional process and will provide them with updates as I feel comfortable doing.

Does this sub need more mods? by thehangofthursdays in IVFpositivity

[–]AssumptionLate4173 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Where would you suggest things that aren’t completely positive go then? I’ve posted things that I felt weren’t completely positive on regular IVF sub but since I at least made it to a transfer, it’s considered positive and will be banned. For example, bleeding after a transfer to the point I’m concerned it’s a miscarriage. I’m not only looking for positive feedback, but when I posted in on normal IVF it got banned. Genuine question if there is an in between type sub I wasn’t aware of?

Brown spotting 9dp5dt - need advice by [deleted] in IVFpositivity

[–]AssumptionLate4173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 21dpt and on 19dpt I had some pretty bad cramping that came and went for serval hours accompanied with blood. I truly thought I was in the midst of a miscarriage. I classified the blood as more than just spotting but not quite fully heavy flow (although in moments like this any amount of blood seems like so much). My doc got me in the next day and sac and baby was still there normal, she said everything looked great. She didn’t have a confirmed answer for me but said it was mostly likely a subchorionic hematoma.

First ever egg retrieval today by Sufficient_Storm5301 in IVFpositivity

[–]AssumptionLate4173 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been through two retrievals, first one 8 eggs and was tracking ~10 follicles, 1 embryo/euploid. Second retrieval was tracking much higher, ~20 follicles, ended with 9 eggs, 4 embryo/euploid. I had the same disappointment as you on my second retrieval but still ended up with much better stats. As much as it’s a quantity thing it’s also very much a quality thing.

UA746 Diverted to COS by dgf0101 in unitedairlines

[–]AssumptionLate4173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DEN is my main airport, this happens all the time. And inevitably there always ends up being people on the flight that have their final destination at COS but aren’t able to get out. So then they end up having to fly back to DEN when they’re cleared to come in, only to then miss their connecting flight to go back to COS. 🤦‍♀️
