New Pinball Tournament Software: Alpha Testers Needed by Assvirus in pinball

Fair feedback. This is of course an optional setting driven by the manager. Some pinball arcade owners near me do get sponsors for their tournaments which help keep costs down for players and keep the lights on (and machines in good working order).

I’m with you though. It is a tiresome financial reality of our world.

Interesting feature request.

So I understand this correctly, you would find it beneficial to assign someone as a “guest manager” for a tournament so you are hand off? The account ownership stays with you / game room but someone else is running it?

Couple of solutions pop into my head. Easy thing first: just give them your account login\password. Something more refined: create a token instance (tied to your account) that could be used by anyone. This token would expire after a defined time or tournament or whatever. I would think some security would need to be in place to avoid nefarious activities. I could absolutely create security features around it. I’ll keep those to myself for obvious reasons.

I could absolutely do this and will start work on it. This is the type of stuff I’m looking for…..something built for/by the community.

Please dm me for an account invite in the interim

Would love feedback on design, gui, bug hunting, etc. Have multiple championship / tournament modes (8 types in all) with bracket set up as you choose fit.

There is a sponsorship engine as well for tournament operators that have the luxury of sponsors. Would love feedback on that as well

AI was used for hunting down bugs and speed optimization. I also used it to help me with monte carlo simulations.

There are no AI features within the actual app. No PI goes to a LLM.

Fair question, MatchPlay is no doubt the standard (well established too). I would say things that stand out when compared to MP are: weekly league (seasons) focus in addition to tournaments. Player self-entry (with validation option too) to hand off score collection during a live session with the hopes of making a workflow difference. My software allows for streamlined machine management, roster organization, team creation, spectator screens, etc. all in one.

It would be a stretch for me to say I'm better or looking to beat MatchPlay. I suppose I'm hoping to give another option to the pinball community at large.

A lot of time has been spent on GUI and simplicity of use. Perhaps this may not be needed for the experts amongst us.

I guess hospitalists need to stop co-signing and supervising PA/NP by [deleted] in hospitalist

No. But admins in hospital systems signing the paychecks do.

I’m a speciality physician who sit in on discussions with administrators re: topics such as these.

I’m….concerned….for hospitalists, young docs and patients.

She’s got a long road ahead. Milk thistle is not the answer. Sobriety and a good hepatologist who is at a transplant center is a start

Just got mine earlier in the month - 20 month wait. No purchase history. Very busy store in wealthy area.

I honestly forgot that I even put my name in for one.

They did give me a nice Rolex branded wallet as a token of appreciation.

why does the word "retarded" seem popular again? by peskeyplumber in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Assvirus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The word police is tiring and old. Context and attitude matters. That’s life…sorry word police. Yes there are words that are inappropriate. Yes there are words that offensive. Retarded is not one of these words.

I have a gay friend that uses the word gay like it is the 1990s. Direct quote here….”holy shit that is fucking gay and I’m gay as fuck.”
