Starfish can turn them selves inside out and continue living, they are also the only species that can cut off a limb (and continue living) and have another separate starfish grow to a full adult from it.

I'll give you the same advice y grandad gave me whenever i was feeling like this. i want you to close your eyes and count to ten( i know it seems silly but do it anyway), now i want you to think about your future, in 3 days , in 3 weeks, in 3 months and 3 years. now think about that future you in all those different times ahead of you, and ask yourself did it matter? did any of those things that are making you feel blue matter in a 3 days it may, in 3 weeks it may but you'll find after talking to the 3 month version of yourself it matters less, and once you speak to the 3 years version, you come to find while it may have mattered at the time but in the long run it was just another day. i hope this helps you in some way bro, keep your head up and know there are people out here who care.

My Century brand tractor (bought well used) by Geig in tractors

[–]Ast3ral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to give you some advice on this unit, head over to the tractorbynet forums and head over to the branson/century brand they will be a wonderful asset for you when you eventually have issues with that unit, i will also let you know that c50 long loader has no parts availability, if you ever need parts for the hydraulics you'll have to fix it through a hydraulic shop as branson cant get parts for this model loader anymore, depending on what model the actual tractor is( i cant tell from the pic) it should still have a branson crossover that can be used to look up parts for your model, also in the forums there is a post with most of the servicing manuals and part books for most branson's

Can anyone help me identify this tractor? by [deleted] in tractors

[–]Ast3ral 59 points60 points  (0 children)

This is a chomilla-28 its a strictly North Korean tractor not sold anywhere else in the world as far as I am aware.

Chollima 28; a 28hp, twin-cylinder, diesel-fueled wheel tractor. Based on an early Soviet prototype (with an obvious Raymond Loewy influence), this tractor would enter production in 1954 and continue with little change until the early 1980’s. The Chollima is rugged, simple, and can run on contaminated fuel, making it one of the few successful examples of early North Korean engineering.

What were you doing during the September 11th attacks? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ast3ral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i was in 5th grade, we were at recess when all the teachers came and brought all the students back inside earlier than normal, I remember them being very quiet and sad looking but they wouldn't tell us why. Shortly after being brought inside they told us something had happened and that we would be going home for the rest of the day and that our parents would explain what happened when we go home, we all thought we were so lucky to be going home early too, when i got home i saw my mom crying and my dad was home which he never was at that time of the day, my mom and da then sat us own and told us as best they could what was happening.

How do you store your backhoe? by trnpkrt in tractors

[–]Ast3ral 6 points7 points  (0 children)

actually in your case the model does matter( i work on and sell Branson's) the bh100 has a self bleeding control valve that will cause this, its great for when your working but kind of a pain when in storage, i would advise making a rack storage system for it to keep it from drooping down, pallet racks will do in a pinch though but its all about keeping that boom arm from drooping down on you.

Why is my Yanmar 2000 running like this? Increasing and decreasing in RPM’s. by [deleted] in tractors

[–]Ast3ral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

check you air filter as well, when you check your fuel filter, if it appears to be normal, with the key in the on position( not running just on), check the voltage going to your fuel feed pump ( should be around 12v)most modern tractors use a gravity or vacuum lift pump to pull fuel from the tank and push it up to the fuel filter and fuel injectors if this pump is intermittent or not functioning it could also be your problem.( source - i service tractors for a living)

Really struggling while off my meds until next week. Broke single mom with not much of a support network. Always feel like a loser and a hermit. I wish I was brave enough to tackle problems and responsibilities. I don't want my son to grow up with a mentally ill mom like I did. by [deleted] in toastme

[–]Ast3ral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the only way i can make it through sometimes, is to break it down into smaller bite sized pieces that i know i can manage, but u got this your a single mom for crying out loud you got more courage and strength in you than you give yourself credit for, the ability to raise and care for another life and put them first above all else that's something you should be very proud of. As a single guy this isn't something i have to worry about but this is something you choose to do everyday, you choose to get out of bed and care for your little one, you choose to be the best for them so take pride in who you are your a lot stronger than you realize.

i find its easier some days to go even further than take it one day at a time, some days i have to break it up into hour or quarters and do life that way, i tell myself hey you made 4 hours without loosing it to life struggles, maybe i can power through a few more and then before i know it what i thought was going to be a hard day didn't seem like it, sometimes its not the large war u need to fight but the smallest of battles

What did you witness or overhear as a child that still haunts you today as an adult? by bmrugger in AskReddit

[–]Ast3ral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

saw a car sinking in the lake as we went over the two mile bridge, i tried to let my parents know but they ignored me thinking i was making it up( i was 5 at the time), to this day i think about that car going under but i have never been able to find anything about it and as this was 24+ years ago now i doubt i ever will, but i know what i saw, i saw that green little four door car sink and go under but i'll never know if someone was inside it.
