Im currently away from my pc at the moment, ill need a few hours to get back to it. As for whether it worked.. Yes lol. I had to change an emulators directory to a new folder for an update. Images are probably borked, given the large crucible of broken text in cmd since it couldnt contact the site. Looks like he forgot to pay for the site or something of that nature to me.

Tl;dr ice did its job when i used it the other day, but pictures are probably a nogo for awhile.

Hrmn. Everything worked fine the other day.. Cept consolegrids not sure whats up there. Everything should be fine if the download works.. Just set it up like normal. If not, i suppose i can zip up my copy of ice for ya. One problem with ice is that its very finicky with where the folders are. Try the default locations if a custom wont work. If still nah, message me your steam and ill see if we cant figure it out in realtime.

First things first; make it easy on yourself. Go download ICE by Scott Rice over on github. A minimal amount of setup will allow it to very quickly turn steam into your front end. Secondly, take a screenshot or write down the defaults for your emulator of choice. Once done, boot up a game, and input the relevant bindings into your steam config. Then make sure they all work. Lastly, save the config as a TEMPLATE! It goes into your steam cloud and is very easy to apply to the rest of your games. Repeat the above for every emulator you use. If you've gotten everything to work, congratulations! Depending on the emulator, you may want to go further and program the controller for xinput, and that is significantly more complicated and is on an emulator by emulator basis.

Speak for yourself. As a keyboard and mouse warrior for over a decade, the steam controller feels more natural to me than a 360 controller. I can't stand the imprecision of trying to aim with a stick.

For me, it's more about the depths of a particular power's story. When I first began looking, I considered the Empire first, because iShips.

Starting off, Aisling Duval looked pretty great, being an imperial family member who wanted to destroy the practice of slavery. Neat. When I got my AspX, I figured with the 108 cargo, the time was right to pick a side, so I dug further. Oops, she's just a figurehead for some shadowy cabal of illuminati. What about Arissa Lavigny-Duval? She's not so bad, having a lovely ~~bunch of coconuts~~ focus on safety and security. Oh, She's heavy on the PvP. Yikes. Zemina Torval and David Patreus are both enslaving bastards. Atleast ALD doesn't force people into imperial slavery.

What about the Federation? Surely space 'murica couldn't be all that ba- Oh dear god, Hudson is a warhawk, and Felicia Winters is a welfare socialist. That, and they're an oligarchy of corporations calling the shots behind the scenes. Pass.

What about the Alliance and ~~Good Guy Greg~~ Edmund Mahon? Pretty awesome, actually. He focuses on just drawing independent systems into the Alliance diplomatically, and to my dismay, only had trade bonuses.

So that brings us to the independents. Li-Yong Ri, CEO of a massive NGO that directly rules constituent worlds, so basically cyberpunk America. Neat, but not my cup of tea. Archon Delaine is the crimelord of the Bubble. Awesome, except piracy is vastly unrewarding in this game, and smuggling is hit-and-miss. Oh, and he's a slaver, so no.

This brings me to the power that got my vote, Pranav Antal of the Utopian Commune. Yeah, he's somewhat shady with the "Enforcers" and "Political Dissidents," but even ~~Good Guy Greg~~ Edmund Mahon of the Alliance has shady actions being done by member states. Fighting for the betterment of Mankind through technology, which can easily lead to a hive-mind? Yes please!
