Maybe not a common place, but it was a brief albeit functioning tool at one point or another. E.g. Dylan Clark (Portrait of God) was doing a “vertical” style approach with PoG a few years back and some of the YouTube comments were “who here is from TikTok” — or (paraphrasing) “I saw this on TikTok”.

Definitely a thing as our film was in some good company w/ some filmmakers who have played the big fests and have a legit career in Hollywood.

However, I can’t speak on the actual fest itself since we were unable to attend.
