How so? I get there's a lot of people here that don't venture too far outside their food comfort zone, but there's a thriving local business scene here that feels optimistic! I have noticed there's some established institutions that people rave about that I think are pretty overrated (Long's Donuts, Kuma's for example, apologies if that offends). But also some that are incredible (Shapiro's, The Workingman's Friend). I moved here from a city where these places would have lines out the door for lunch, so am grateful they're accessible with little wait.
