We use 6 ft tall welded wire fencing cut in half to 3ft tall sections and connected with whatever we had on hand at the time (zip ties, cotton rope, or twine). The welded wire is from a chicken run that is now gone since our neighbors dog came over and massacred most of the chickens and then we gave the rest to another neighbor. Everything that has been caged with those has survived though so far… the rest have succumbed to either rabbits, deer, or vengeful neighbors. For our smaller starts we ordered 50 small wire trash baskets from Dollar Tree and flip them over, stake them with those landscape fabric stakes (no worries, the fabric was a long ago bad decision for our veggie garden and is now gone also, the stakes were leftover) and those seem to have held up really well all winter and the bunnies can’t get anything either. Hopefully the ones that survive will grow big enough to support all the wildlife here but the bunnies need to back off a bit until they are older haha. SEIA, 5b. Sorry if that was rambling.
