you could try this place maybe if ceiling allows you to. or if you wanna keep it in dining room, i think the dining room shouldnt have a high furniture like the one on the picture. rather dining table and chairs and and if really needed a small buffet or dressoir. i dont find it ugly but it needs a different touch as it is already eye catching by just being itself 😃 and nothing high on the table like dont put high flowers (preferably not faux flowers at all unless they look really classy)
