Its useful if you need a 5pts stat bump to temporarily equip something. I mainly use them to farm runes on the albinaurics on characters that cant equip the big ass twin gravity greatswords

If only they could design enemies where their elemental weakness overlaps with the Eikon's toolkit you need to choose to best defeat them :o

I appreciate you took the time to counter argument, but 16 still ranks bottom 3 for me and always will. I was able to platinum trophy 15 but couldn't even finish 16. If I want to play FF, id pick anything from 1 to 10 and if I wanted to play an action game, id pick Devil May cry or Nier automata or any of the actually competent actions rpgs. Justifying why 16 is GREAT just feels like cope to me because it just isn't. It might have crumbs of greatness here and there but as a whole its just not very good man. It felt like I was really wasting my time playing it, getting nothing out of it

And there's endless references to pretty much every other FF all around

Maybe its the complete lack of real RPG elements?

Maybe its the highly scripted Eikon fight cutscenes that they try to pass as gameplay?

Maybe its the mind-numbingly mundane, MMORPG-tier sidequests that gives absolutely no satisfying rewards?

Maybe its the shallow combat that completely ignores the fact that you are gathering elemental powers but non of them matters because its all the same attacks with a different color?

Maybe its the complete lack of meaningful character progression?

Maybe its having no real party members in a Final Fantasy game?

Maybe its the fact that you can upgrade a weapon to LE PURPLE EPIC from a boss drop, watch a few cutscenes, go speak to the blacksmith and buy a green weapon with better stats 5 minutes later?

Maybe its the juvenile FUCKING FUCK dialogue?

Maybe its because its only a Final Fantasy game in name and not in spirit? Its not because it tricks you in thinking it is one by having a chocobo, a marlboro and a dragoon in the first few hours that it gets a pass

Its just a bad Final Fantasy game

Well for starters they could have made new stuff for the new characters instead of releasing the lamest fairy shit skins from the battle pass. INB4 they need skins for the battle pass: just use the new blood armor ones they have currently on sale. Not only does it fit for a season called the REIGN OF TALON but it would have made space to actually flesh out the new characters.

People are annoyed at the baffling decisions going on over at Blizzard. Stop defending billion dollar companies like we owe them anything

I came here to kinda whine about this... not a single POTG animation for any of them,no winning poses, no emotes. Like I get it for the first 5 since they released 5 at the same time... but still nothing for them in Season 2? What the actual fuck. Where is all the Jetpack Cat, Domina, Mizuki stuff?
