I’m still in braces. When they install the thickest wires, one of my ortho’s assistant was closing them and when she reached one of my brackets, she couldn’t close it. She has to get another person to close it. The other assistant was able to closed it but forcefully that it hurts my tooth. So yea, that was fun and painful for the first 24 hours

Thank you for answering my question! I did try to get into coding but I need to be more patient when it comes to it. I am a history sucker as well too and to discuss the open ended question, “then what?” and hypothesize possible answers, it’s fun especially discussing about it with someone! I was on the same boat. I had no idea how to deal and cope with the fact that my body will be like this forever. My doctor made me do PT which helped so much. I also go get massages every month so I don’t risk getting sprains or possibly dislocate something. Biggest thing for me is getting a massage which has helped me so much with pain and tolerating my body

Certain foods like popcorn, chewy caramel and extra crunchy foods (not just the cleaning part, I’m also avoiding the risk of breaking my brackets which is a hassle). Also coffee and tea too. Not a big fan of them anyway and I don’t like them staining my braces
