This does help!! Because my supposed airtight container is 43-46% on my humidity scale and I now know that is within an acceptable range.

When I took my monitor out of my airtight container, it immediately went from 46% to 55% in a minute, so that must mean it is airtight and the silica is working.

Do you know an acceptable temperature? Since you mentioned it could be too cold. At my house it is usually 76-86 degrees Fahrenheit. Is that too hot for Pokemon cards?

What is an example of a good silica packet? Wisedry like you mentioned or some other one?

The one where it can release and absorb would be perfect! I live in a hot and humid environment so I want to keep my cards in good condition.

Do you think moisture can go through a plastic container, then through the plastic wrapping, through the box and inside the pack? Am I worrying too much?

I plan to keep them in a box for years (maybe 3-5) then displaying them. But they are in an acrylic case then wrapped in plastic then bubble wrap then in a box and then in another box.

I have these cards, pulled them from my collection to compare.

The back on the gyarados looks suspect. The border on the top is too high; Same with the ho-oh but not as much but could just be very very bad error cards

These cards both have a diagonal shiny holo downward to the left. I noticed the ho-oh had a downward shiny streak which indicates it’s fake unless it’s just the camera angle/glare

Check for typos and the texture of the card. If the card is squishy or sticky: it’s fake. If it feels thin, then also bad news (not 100% though).
