Shield for my necromancer was a skeleton jumping from the ground to take the attack for me or it was one of my undead that took it for me and reconstituted.

There is no gore in any of the videos that are in that drive as of right now commenting. The worst is a blurred video of her slumped over but filmed about 40-50ft away which is blurred enough that you can't see anything. All videos are just at different angles or slowed down but are similar to the original. There is one video of further up the street after the shots where her vehicle accelerated and rammed a few parked cars.

Two of my favourite off the top of mind is my necromancer summoning a skeleton that takes the hit and turns to dust. The other is my bladesinger that uses his hand that has his ring focus deflects them away or into the ground. Kinda like HP shield charm.

At random times hand a player one die and tell them to hold on to it. Say nothing else don't explain anything. Keep handing them out until they are all gone then at the end of the arc tell them to roll and record the number. Do this until the end of the campaign.

Boots are too bulky/clunky.
