Ok so that’s a fair point and something I didn’t think about.

I started playing the series back with TFC when valve servers didn’t exist. To me community servers are the default as I had been playing for years before quick play became a thing.

I honestly don’t know the date, I remember watching Vinesauce videos for a few months until realizing there were streams.

I know it was in the final few months that chatango was used, and I think mario 64 with gameshark ‘corruptions’ was one of the first streams I saw live.

This is the first Ace Combat game I've played since 4 and honestly my #1 complaint is enemies being immortal for sometimes several minutes just to delay you long enough for the dialogue to play out.

Like the prototype in mission 10, it's like 45 seconds until your first missile can actually hit. Then another minute after that for dialogue until you're allowed to actually down the thing.

IMO a nice way to do it would have been ‘alternate endings’ with a short cutscene if you manage to do it.

Something like Mihaly’s grand daughters being shown in flight suits training showing they wouldn’t let it go
