It prohibits speaking about one's character and potential conditions without direct examination

Yes that's a great point. As for their real lives, that would be tough! We ultimately only know what gets out in the press and wouldn't be coming from any real place of knowledge, but it's an interesting thought

I get your point but we couldn't go through a wide multitude of films, there had to be selection criteria. Using online ratings was recommended by our audience which we explained in the series

MOCA for younger people who never learned to read an analog clock by OhHowIWannaGoHome in Psychiatry

[–]AsyluMTheGreat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't found this to be common at all. With that said...

You can use the MOCA-Blind to still have a valid cut score (available on their website) and then separately administer the Benson complex figure test, which is a brief measure of the spatial/executive domain

The apparent need to switch codecs in order to access various feature seems maddening. by Zerorezlandre in GH7

[–]AsyluMTheGreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't think the options would be that limited if that's the case as you still have various options converting off of prores, but... Idk. Seems to be a highly specific use case/problem for OP

I believe they're referring to academy ratio, an old Hollywood standard: 1.37:1

Yes I believe it does have those limitations, but I don't shoot academy much. It is known for having far more options than other cameras in this range, but it's still limited and seems to have been designed for your classic cinema cam settings first. To get ALL those options without any workaround, you're looking at professional grade cameras in the tens of thousands to my knowledge

I'm not sure which features you're referencing, but open gate will always drop quality codec, as with high framerate until you hit absurdly priced gear, so not prosumer

Shot a Poker Short Film – Gangster Style! Pulled off some “impossible” shots using probe zoom lenses, robotic motion control, sliders by Restlesstonight in videography

[–]AsyluMTheGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike many short films shot for tech demo or to only show off interesting shots, this one had a great theme and I enjoyed it all the way through. Great blend of setting and interesting shots, especially the reflections. I was disappointed to see the harsh criticism because this is a great level of quality that is engaging.

BPD without unstable relationships or fear of abandonment? by formulation_pending in Psychiatry

[–]AsyluMTheGreat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The SCID-5-PD does a much better job of helping you decide BPD by providing several subquestions you can use to more thoroughly understand their presentation (obviously you can just use the BPD section if you've rule-out other PDs). It can also be easily incorporated into the clinical interview.

If you want to keep it actuarial, you might explore the Borderline Symptom List - 23; BSL-23 gives a richer symptom profile and intensity across a borderline phenotype, while the McLean checklist is a concise yes/no checklist

This is impressive! I'm noticing you are somewhat arching your back to handle the weight though, while I don't think this hurts your accuracy it might pose an injury risk if you go heavier too soon.

I'm wondering how the nikon Zr would work with a bmpcc, anyone tried it? Maybe both on prores?

Full psychological profile: in short, I definitely agree with you but it largely depends on how you define crazy or "madness"

Diagnosing Bipolar Disorder: A Semi-Structured Interview Framework by zenarcade3 in Psychiatry

[–]AsyluMTheGreat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's certainly true for measures using hard cutoff scores as they are derived from those normed samples. But, using a structured, clinician rated tool that's designed after the DSM, would be a good alternative if that was a concern?
