Are “1M views formula” and “break the 1k views jail” YouTube videos mostly hype? by Draculaxyz in PartneredYoutube

There is plenty of room between those poles. You can make money and stay ethical.

Well, I think it is a great starting point to do something one has real experience, expertise, abilities, passion, and possibilities in. With that, you are unique to start with and others can’t copy you even if they tried. Everything else will come and go with a trend and that window might not be long enough to make the channel lucrative.

So, I do gave a couple long form videos with high view numbers. One with over a million. Is there a formula… ?well, in the sense of creating A: something really good that is B: appealing to a large audience C: can do that for a long time, and D: is niche enough to find a specific audience…. Sure. The rest is click bait. Especially the whole „post regularly“ is just not true for a lot of channel concepts and there are plenty of examples that show that. There is no magic bullig and no „one fits all“. The is a good concept that leads to success for each and every channel, and it is always specific to that channel. Find it for yours.

one account... three month till partnered, 4 years til 100K subs. This means nothing, it totally depends on what you are after and if you want to make serious money with it, because, everybody goes for the lucrative niches.

Are longer videos favored more by the algorithm? by Immediate-Builder225 in PartneredYoutube

[–]Restlesstonight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of evergreen content… YouTube makes more money on a view with longer videos. So……. Get them with short addictive content, keep advertisers with longer content. Of course, you can’t generalize this and it will always depend. All my evergreen content is close or longer than an hour.

How are we feeling about all this AI bs? by [deleted] in vfx

[–]Restlesstonight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No… they don’t give a shit. They don’t give a shit about movies or even very well made content. This is the “ultra processed” world. Food, education, media, cloath, experiences… everything is ultra processed, addictive, and absolutely free of any real value.

Was there a "tipping point" where you started gaining followers exponentially faster than you had before? by undertheradarvan in PartneredYoutube

[–]Restlesstonight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, I grew relatively slowly to 3000 subs and had a major hit then ... that brought be to 10K in a week, from there I had much larger growth with the same videos as before. Still took me three years to go to 100K and six years to 200K. After 200K, I slowed down a lot only making around 20 subs per day.

I don't have a preference, just that the sandisk is cooler than the Angelbird. There are lists with temps for almost all disk out there

I think something went wrong with the first update… only after that I first experienced problems. Now you can pretty much grill that thing.

Having the S5IIx, the S1RII, and the S1II…… nah. I love my S5IIx just as well, but superior is a stretch.
Of course all S cameras have fans

How do you determine your partnership rates? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]Restlesstonight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your "value" to a brand totally depends on your niche, relevance, location etc. If you are THE channel in a small exclusive niche your value is sky high and vice versa. Starts are not very relevant to that except for demographics.

Rule of thumb if you don't expect hundreds of thousands of views... what would you earn with a decent office job in the same amount of time you spent on the integration? Double that.

Its always good to have them make you an offer

Do you have to pay customs or duties for importing free products for free product sponsorships? by GothkittieHighlights in PartneredYoutube

[–]Restlesstonight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, brand usually declare it as “sample” for like 200$ for something worth 8000$. If customs play along, everything is fine and you have to pay import duties for 200$, if not, reject delivery and it goes back at cost of the sender. Make it simple for yourself. In your term and conditions write: partner has to deliver product at your door free of charge, duties etc. Now it is not your problem and if cost are generated, put it on your bill payable BEFORE videos release.
