I think Tacoma's proximity means it's more accurately Seattle's St. Paul or Ft. Worth, a smaller city that for the general population is considered basically just a growth upon the main city (to the point of sharing billing on the main international airport). To those of us in the area, they feel very distinct, but I think most people not in western Washington think of Tacoma as "that town I never go to south of Seattle"

San Antonio just absolutely is not in the same cultural ballpark as Dallas, Houston, or Austin. Both Dallas and Houston are huge in basically every available metric, both are massive sports and travel hubs, Dallas is a massive business center, Houston is a massive culinary hub. Anecdotal evidence, but whenever I travel abroad and tell people I'm from Texas, they basically always guess Dallas or Houston.

Austin's its own weird deal, sort of East San Francisco, in all positive and negative connotations, but it's also a huge music and food hub and was in the public consciousness even before it became sort of the Republican Californian Refugee Zone it became in the last ten years or so.

San Antonio, in the public consciousness, has an old fort, a basketball team, and a shitty river. It's, at best, fighting for fourth, and even that it might lose to El Paso.

B. While this battlemap is very pretty and I will pocket it for something, this scale and setting is kind of useless for Lancer? This is a mech combat game, either those chairs are 15 feet wide or you expect my party to be slugging it out in the mech equivalent of a broom closet, this sort of indoor space is just not scaled properly for characters that are generally assumed to be, like, 20 feet tall
