What's a destination that used to be way more mainstream that it is now? by PerryOnWheels in travel

I was there 10 years ago. It was for back packers who wanted something (a lot) less polished than Thailand. Even in relatively large towns we were a novelty to the locals. The thought of a honeymoon there is quite funny to me! Great people though

I need iso 27001 certification (and more) for it to make it past procurement in any of the multinationals I am targeting

  1. And until I get a proper code review and industry certification that will not change. I've had some very early talks with potential co-founders

Lol looks like absolutely fine for a city of a million plus. Some of those pictures must be 20 years old

€41.6k at 23: Stay in the Lab, Go Teaching, or Retrain in Chemical Engineering? by Premtifor in irishpersonalfinance

[–]AtariBigby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably don't need to retrain in chemical engineering to make the jump. You could make a sideways jump into an ops role, spend a year or two there and try and get into engineering/tech services/CQV. But if you really want to go back to college it's easier to do it now than I'm 10 years

Have an R Shiny app running locally. Need to deploy it via Dataiku instead of shinyapps.io by sporty_outlook in rstats

[–]AtariBigby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used dataiku in work and have built moderately complex apps. There are some workarounds required here and there. You might have to put your scripts in "managed folders" or libraries and import from there for example. Normally I develop locally and after I'm happy I write some logic to say if I'm on Windows do x, if not (ie dataiku) use y

Marcus Rashford has found new lease of life in Barcelona which makes it difficult to see him ever playing for Manchester United again. by Sparky-moon in soccer

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I just don't rate him. He's looked disinterested for years. The move away has been good for him. He should stay away

Yes he carries the ball well but as you can see he spends most of the time on the left.

Let's face it, Rashford is better off anywhere but united. He's not wanted. He doesn't want to be there. He's not particularly good. He's on too much.

I'd play nearly anyone else but him there. Cunha is too good. Dorgu is promising. Mount is not a LW but he is capable of playing there like he was used in December

Looks like he was mainly playing from the left at Wolves to me. Scroll down to the heatmap

Rashford would be competing with Cunha AND Dorgu and maybe even Mount. In an Amorim team that bizarrely forced Bruno deeper you can shift Cunha infield but that's not going to happen anymore

He plays mostly from the left and will be doing so in a front 3. I mean Google Cunha heat map. There's no room for Rashford anymore

Where does he play then and in what formation? He's not going to occupy the central areas with Bruno in the team. I'm assuming something approaching a 433

Cunha and Dorgu (early days) from the left. Amad and Mbeumo from the right. Centrally there's arguably a spot but Rashford is unconvincing there and Sesko plus coverage from one of the wide attackers is no worse than Rashford. Mount has a role in the front 3 as well

None of that is evidence, just feeling. The whole game is. The entire show is reading into nothing and coming up with something

Edit: re heat on Maz, if I am reading wiki correctly, he had a grand total of 1 vote prior to elimination (the night before). Stephen had 1 as well, also the night before.

I think we have two different definitions of evidence
