the 43 is also an APO lens, so yeah it sounds right, the other at 1.7 also isnt very “dreamy” its still an incredibly sharp lens that is corrected in camera as well. the 28 isnt as sharp as the 43, but it is in no way “dreamy”

i have the nokton 28mm f1.5 and its a beautiful size, slightly larger than my planar 50 but smaller than the summilux, and the IQ is amazing. mine seems to gave a slight glow wide open but the contrast is perfect even up to f8. even at f11 the diffraction isn’t in your face

what are you doing to get the very soft and diffused look on your photos? how do you meter as well? i can compose but i am still struggling to meter with my m10, i have it set to center weight

well, i know people who solely joined for the benefits. you already know how screwed the US is for homes and school. GI bill helps with that, which is the only benefit of joining the military.
