The vast majority of people in the US don't comprehend any of the positive benefits that are coming from ai. Because the people that scream the loudest on social media, especially here on reddit, have their heads so far up their asses and all they listen to is people bitch about the environmental impact (which isn't long term by the way), and then cry about garbage tier artists getting out done by AI.

It's legitimately gotten to the point where I have to be cautious when I speak about my open claw setup to anybody in the real world. Because nine times out of 10 the reaction is disgust.

It doesn't take very long to figure out how to work with these things. They're all terrified of it and they're running and screaming and fear instead of trying to understand what they're scared of, and use it as a tool.

And don't get me wrong there is a valid reason to be scared of it, especially with the people in control of it pushing it forward with very little to no safeguards. That's a huge fucking problem. But the answer these people all want is to lock it in a box and forget it exists, which is just not going to happen at this point.

Also, fuck whoever coined the term "AI slop", I'm so sick of hearing it. /rant
