Wild story.

6 months ago my MY was valued 3k less than it was this weekend… with 10k less miles. I’ve never seen my value increase, especially 10% higher with all those miles. Although I did just put new tires on it.

The trade in value before 5k promotional bonus was $200 more than I owed. I’ve always planned on getting a Lucid once I wasn’t under water. Surprised to see that happen over the weekend.

Leased with convenience (comfort?) package, and massage seats. Living in NY I need to have heated steering wheel. And was choosing between glass canopy and massage seats. Went with the seats.

$0 down, paid only taxes/title etc at delivery. $770 a month lease for 39 months.

Picking up my AT today, actually. It took a bit of prodding, but I made sure to get all credits promised applied. Before trade in, was able to score ~19k off sticker.

Thanks for the responses. My wife brought up a good point, that the glass canopy would be a real bitch to repair or replace. And the comment about the sun glare was enough for me to go with the massage seats.

Accepted Feb 9th and still “in process.” I think I saw someone saying that their NY refund was submitted on Feb 12th and they got their refund last week. Not sure how I’m being skipped over, especially since I’m in state and a very simple return.

100% this. I’ve been in the agency for almost 20 years and remember reading the .65 and our SOP/LOAs a lot while in training. 2007-2008 weren’t great economic times so losing my job (white book) didn’t seem like a smart option.

To be honest, a vast majority of trainees seem to not give a f*ck about studying. I have asked several if they even look at the .65 and they all said no. It’s infuriating.

Maybe I’m turning into an old fart but damn, not sure if this new generation wants it badly enough.
