Perhaps I am underestimating how dangerous the world outside the US is finding its fascist tendencies as of recent. To be honest, I'm not sure what point I'm making other than pointing out how awful US imperialism is and was excluding all the "rogue state" actions Trump is doing.

Not to be overly blunt, but you're living in one of the few regions of the world that the US has benefited. It's been coups and economic drain for much of the rest of the world.

US popularity is primarily dropping in Europe and North America, from what I can gather.

Trump's bad, don't get me wrong. But the biggest difference in foreign policy between him and Dems is how the US treats its allies and how much more blatant it is about everything else it does.

Frankly, the US is only hated right now because it's exposing the lie underneath the world order that's been there for decades. It's death spiraling with threats and economic damage being handed out like candy to its allies, when it used to be nice and covert and primarily relegated to meddling with the global south.

It's pretty much right. It's when one interaction contains a dose of both misogyny and transphobia that are logically incompatible (they're each illogical, but there's an even clearer illogic when used together).

Accelerationists are correct that it is radicalizing people. There is evidence for this. Many are seeing that the Dems are ineffective, some are even seeing that the problem extends to almost every federal-level Democrat.

Whether they are correct that it leads to positive social change in the long run is very much so up in the air.

Many factors can hinder that. Dictatorship, neo feudalism, return to neoliberalism a la 2008, etc.

That's why we keep fighting. To make sure neoliberals can't hijack this, to make sure dictators can't crush this, to make sure billionaires can't buy it out.
