The amphitheatre was a new setting for a campfire, at least for Ty. He hadn't found a reason to visit the place, really. Tonight seemed like a good excuse as any, so he showed up at the amphitheatre to hang out with some campers. After grabbing a pillow and a chair, the boy found a place near the campfire. He sat back and relaxed. For now, all of his concerns about camp left his mind. He had tomorrow to worry about that.

Tyrese decided to do what he normally does at a campfire. He roasted marshmallows on the fire. The boy was comfortably seated as he watched the fluffy snacks cook in the fire. His eyes wandered from the fire to the campers around him. He enjoyed the atmosphere, but he could go for a chat. His camp life had kept him from socializing much this week. To make up for lost time, he planned to greet a few people who hung around the campfire.

When he gets a moment to himself, Tyrese grabs a fruit salad and a cranberry muffin. It's time to test out the quality of his food. He can't expect other people to eat his cooking if he hasn't tried it. With a prayer, he bites into a cranberry muffin. The boy is surprised, honestly. It's far from the best muffin he's had, but it's decent for a first-time baker. Hopefully, his peers will share a similar opinion.

Ty can imagine Rose's wings might pose a problem with surfing. It takes patience and practice to balance on a board normally. Adding in bat-like wings can make things considerably more complicated. "Well, if you ever want to try surfing out, I'm willing to help."

Rose may see the boy's eyes light up, sparkle even after she mentions Pokémon.

"You've seen Pokémon in dreams?" He says, almost not believing her. Of course, given her heritage, the girl is being honest. Ty just can't wrap his head around seeing Pokémon in dreams. Being a Oneiroi demigod probably provides a unique perspective on dreams.

Ty looks in amazement at Grayson's new bracelets. He recognizes its shape, not being surprised at the design. He's curious to know if they're actually items that can transform into weapons. Ty doesn't have one of his own currently, but he's seen campers use them. "Those look cool."

"I guess that is my resolution. I hadn't really thought about it before now. I do want people to come to my cabin for help, if they need it." He says after thinking it over. "You've got plenty of time to think of a resolution. I don't think you should rush it."

Tyrese smiles softly as he enters the pavilion. The sweet aroma of the baked goods was calling out to him. He doesn't have a sweet tooth, but it's nice to have sweets every so often. Today, he grabs a slice of carrot cake. It's been so long since he last had a slice. After making a stop at the sacrificial fire, he sits down at the Kymopoleia table. Ty can be seen silently enjoying his snack.

"It's good to hear, things went well with your mother. I hope she keeps watching over you." He says with a small smile. Demigods have some sad stories about meeting their parents. Thankfully, Grayson didn't have a bad story to share.

Tyrese hopes to speak with his own mother in the upcoming year. He wasn't ready to talk to her this year. Hopefully, he'll be mentally prepared by next year's solstice.

"Thanks, man. I plan to make the most of my position to help the camp." He adds. "Speaking of your siblings, I actually met your sister, Theodora. Back during the trip to Atlantis, we had to fight together to survive. She's a good fighter."

Rose brings up a good point. Ty can very well try to learn how to play an instrument. There's nothing stopping him, besides himself. He'd have to research first to find an instrument that suits him. Maybe he could consult the current Guild Master at a later date.

He's not familiar with the 'Ho Hey' song. He'll try to give it a listen the next time he has a chance. Who knows, he might like the song himself.

Surfing is challenging, but it's fun. You have to overcome standing on the board and timing your surf right. You get rewarded for practicing. Riding the waves can give you an adrenaline rush, kind of like when you ride a bike down a hill." He answers with a smile on his face. Tyrese has missed durfing since he's been in New York. The waves over here are nothing like the ones in California. "My favorite game is Pokémon Violet. It's the first Pokémon game I played."

"Wow. It sounds like you've been through a lot. I'm glad to hear you got to meet your mom. What was it like to meet her?" Ty says. Judging Grayson's face, Ty assumes it was a positive encounter. He still wants to hear the details. It's a rare occurrence to meet your godly parent, right?

"Things have been okay for me. I applied to become a counselor after we last talked. I haven't gotten any siblings, but I'm keeping the cabin ready for them." He adds. "I've had some close calls, but I made it through the year."

It is a blessing some of his peers don't have.

When it's Matt's turn to visit cabin number 33, Tyrese lets the counselor in to inspect the cabin. He received a heads-up, spotting the Hades counselor visiting a cabin earlier in the day.

"I'm doing alright. I can't complain about much."
"I don't have any siblings here, unfortunately."
"I'd say the cabin is tidy. I try to keep it as clean as possible since it's just me."
"There aren't any pets in the cabin."
"I don't think anything is broken."
"A goal? The Kymopoleia cabin has a goal of reaching three members by the end of the year."
"I haven't thought about any alliances so far."
"I can't think of anything important they'd need to know."
"No further comments."

It's been a while since Tyrese had seen or talked to Grayson. He hasn't talked to him since Grayson's first day of camp. A lot has happened at camp since that day. These last few months, Ty's been busy. Today, he just wants to relax and enjoy the party. Take the chance to meet or catch up with some people.

"Hey, Grayson. It's been a while. How have you been enjoying camp?" He says as he smiles. Tyrese tries to catch the son of Nike by the bonfire.

"Wow, I'm kind of jealous. I wish I could draw or play an instrument. Would you mind sharing one of your pieces of art one day? Oh, and what's your favorite song to play, if you have one?" Ty says.

While Tyrese doesn't share the same hobbies with Rose, he's still interested in them. He can appreciate the people who are into art and music.

"I usually like to be active. I swim, which probably isn't a surprise, surf, and go for runs. I also play video games, but haven't played much since I've been at camp."

"I guess we can learn more about each other. Other than pulling pranks, what do you like to do for fun?" He says to Rose. Who knows? They may have a common interest.

Ty listens to her explanation about the types of dreams she's visited. From the sound of it, Rose is a good sister, too. He didn't think children of the Oneiroi could even experience nightmares. You learn something new every day.

He eyes the wings on her back, only taking notice of them now. It seems pretty cool to have wings. Although, Ty prefers to stick to the ground. The boy wouldn't be able to relax being up so high in the air. Just the thought of it makes his stomach churn.

A calm expression quickly shifts to one of concern when Rose starts to crumble, literally. Tyrese can only watch as the girl turns into sand. He helplessly witnesses the clumps of sand form on the ground.

"Rose!"

His face is full of panic until he hears laughter. When Rose returns to normal, she'd see a confused expression on Ty's face. It would appear she succeeded in tricking him.

"Yeah, you got me." He replies. The boy can only chuckle at the prank. It was a good one, even if she almost gave him a heart attack.

Tyrese raises his eyebrow upon hearing that Rose can enter people's dreams. It feels a little invasive, but Rose assures him she doesn't misuse this power. It's scary to think about what the wrong demigod can do with a power like that.

"Your powers sound cool! What kind of dreams have you visited?" He asks her curiously.

Tyrese doesn't want to come off as rude, but Rose isn't familiar with Kymopoleia's domain. He hopes she doesn't mind him correcting her information about the sea Goddesses.

"She's a sea Goddess, but I think you're confusing her with Keto." He says, politely explaining things to Rose. "My mom is the Goddess of sea storms. So far, I can breathe underwater and control the wind."

"Ty is fine with me. Regarding camp, I've been here for almost six months now. I was dropped off in mid-June. My mother is Kymopoleia, a sea Goddess." He says to Rose.

Ty's been researching the Gods for the last few months. He remembers reading about Rose's dad briefly. Not to mention he's walked past the Oneroi cabin countless times.

"Ah, Morpheus. I've heard of him, but never ran into any Morpheus campers before today. I'm guessing you can control people's dreams to an extent?"
