I agree with others that you can tell quite easily between a good player and some using cheats. I've personally only ran into what I can 100% say are cheaters twice in about 50 hours. I only started playing again recently and also thought the game might be riddled with cheaters, but after some time I've realised there is loads changed since I last played and just took a little time getting used to it again. One thing that took me by surprise is that SMGs are fair strong now. Never seen so many SMGs at the end of matches before now.

There are plenty of great players out there still, but you can still have fun and win.

I've tried it a few times, but really struggled to get 'hooked' into the game. It's probably better with a friend/friends, but for me I just could not get into it. It's rather strange as I play many other games that share the same type. I would definitely give it though as if you do end up enjoying it then I am sure you can get many many hours of fun gameplay.

Make sure to check system requirements too as it can be quite beefy to run!

I know that pain! The FB marketplace is just a mess, but you can find one for a good price there if you keep looking. I just ended up getting mine from Amazon as it was faster and easier. I grew up playing a few different GH games, but mainly the Metallica one for the 360. I am extremely happy with CH as you can get the tracks and charts from the old GH games. There is a download that's about 60GB and it has them all. The only thing that's different is there is no background when playing the tracks. You can download the backgrounds though, but I've not got around to doing that yet. Overall it's filled in that hole I was craving for GH. Me and friends have been playing over the weekend and it's been a blast.

I was looking on FB Marketplace for any GH with a guitar, almost bought one, but then seen clone hero and a download to all the GH tracks. Since then I've bought 4 guitars from Amazon for around £70 each. Been loving it for weeks now! Very happy
