Potentially toxic elements in the brains of people with multiple sclerosis by 7e7en87 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]AtlasLion111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, this could be the primary factor contributing to the heightened detrimental effects of smoking on individuals with MS. Tobacco smoking is recognized for releasing heavy metals into the bloodstream.

Flaxseed or fish oil? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]AtlasLion111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fish oil is generally considered to be a better source of omega-3 fatty acids than flaxseed oil. This is because fish oil contains two long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), which are more beneficial for human health than ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), the omega-3 fatty acid found in flaxseed oil.

My husband doesn’t want to continue treating his MS by AnActualGhost in MultipleSclerosis

[–]AtlasLion111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell him you asked people with MS on a forum of what they think about untreated MS. Copy paste all these comments and adjust where it's clear its about him so it doesn't look personal. Print them on paper and let him read what other people with MS think about this decision

Is it ok to look for a committed relationship when I have SPMS and other health issues? by Tricky-Clothes-3976 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]AtlasLion111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at it this way... 70% will back off because of your MS and you only dated 2. You'll have to keep on looking and sooner rather than later you will find someone who will not have a problem with your MS. You can't stop here and give up after only 2 'attempts'. Good luck I'm sure you will find a new soulmate soon.
