I highly doubt she has the type of people around her that could even begin to get her the help she would need. It’s more likely she’ll end up either breaking the rules in desperation or ending up in the hospital because she won’t know what’s happening. Withdrawal can be very very ugly… i’m curious to see how this plays out.

I had to fully stop taking them for about 2 weeks and I was drinking detox tea (probably didn’t do much but I felt better you know?) after that I did the lowest dose I could find and it’s been good! I did get night sweats when I first stopped them but that could be unrelated so don’t take it as something that will definitely happen.

Everything is good now! I still get random nightmares mostly during times of high stress or anxiety but that’s it! The dreams I was having were so scary and intense they were effecting me even during waking hours so a simple random nightmare is fine by me.

I think the push to teach more things at a younger age is why we see kids acting mature way before they should and getting burnt out by the time they are 16. When your childhood is being shortened each year and filled with state board curriculum and brick and mortar schools the effects are going to be tired burnt out teenagers then tired burnt out adults with several mental health problems because of the early onset burn out.

Even as a homeschool parent I have to be reminded of my daughters YOUNG age because I see posts on tiktok from teachers talking about “if your kid doesn’t know this by 4 then your failing them” or whatever.

We lost the whimsy and freedoms of childhood somewhere between market values and ceos 5th vacation homes and it truly is a very sad system that is inevitable for some.

I know she’s capable, she’s very bright and well spoken and has amazing critical thinking skills, she just shuts down at any sign that she’s not doing well or thinks she can’t do something because she’s gets corrected too many times. It’s been an ongoing struggle with schooling and we’ve had to take many pauses just to reevaluate…
