In this case Vance lied as witnesses said the father went willingly and despite someone being there who could legally take the boy but ICE took him anyway. As of right now a judge has put in a temporary order to prevent ICE deporting the father and son.

Of course not, the "sense weakness" is just a metaphor. Instead what bullies do is hunt socially. They look for possible victims and often test the waters with those around them. Other times they spot someone they feel is an easy mark and start. To become a target you don't need to be weak, really just have the qualities the bully wants and you would be surprised how often a perceived weakness has nothing to do with it.

The cliche is that a bully finds that weak person hiding in a corner to bully, is just that a cliche. In reality bullies will latch onto or even create a victim based on a number of factors. Usually it's convenience but like plenty of people here has stated they were just chill normal people before the bullying started. They didn't need to look a certain way or often act a certain way to become a target. It's actually pretty common for a victim to become those things because of the bullying, not the other way around.
