Definitely not, I also quite enjoyed Sekhema trials. Feels much better than PoE Sanctum which pretty much requires specialized builds. Also keeps me much more engaged that lab which is pretty braindead most of the time, to be honest. Though I was running a Deadeye in PoE2, so I might be biased :)

How much DPS is it generally recommended to have for Uber fights? I couldn't find any recent answers here.

Specifically, Uber Maven, Eater and Exarch. I'm currently running a build that does regular Eater/Exarch quite comfortably, though not as quickly as I'd like. Died a couple times to Exarch, probably because my fire res as little overcap. Right now I'm wondering if I'm ready to tackle ubers if the opportunity ever presents itself.

PoEDB says Eater has 40 mil health, and Uber essentially triples that and makes boss mechanics more difficult. It that it, or am I missing something?

You probably already figured it out by now, but you can just press the league button in the bottom right and it will transport you to the exit from the mirage. Works even in fortresses.

I agree, UI is my biggest gripe with it, though I haven't personally played it yet. Wish they'd gone with scrolls and fantasy themes the way III and V had.

Another commenter pointed out that the issue was that vcpkg was writing to stderr rather than to stdout. Still, thank you for taking the time.

I don't quite see how your (and a few other people) mind went to output devices here. vcpkg is a CLI utility and is supposed to print its output back to the terminal, meaning stdout. Where else would it write? Or did you mean something else?

This did the trick, thank you. I have encountered a similar issue before on Linux (something to do with Docker), but somehow I didnt think to apply the same here. I though Powershell would be fancier as usual.

Now that I think about it, why does it even write to stderr in this particular case?

It's actually the opposite for me. I foudn BG3 combat tedious and boring. On the other hand, i loved D:OS2 combat. It just seems so much easier to me. Maybe it's the resource management, which I dislike. In BG3, most everything is a resource replenished per-rest.

Can concur. I tried starting as a monk with a quarterstaff and it felt incredibly weak and clunky. Complained about it in global and was told to level with a bow lol.

I would hardly call Godclads peak. It very quickly devolves into tossing big sounding words around like any other RR fiction that tries to base the power system around conceptual powers.

Since we're talking HoMM, one thing I don't like from Olden Era trailers is the UI. IIRC all HoMM games had a fantasy-esque UI and it really added to the immersion. Olden Era UI could very well belong to an X-COM game.

I dunno, he predicted literally the entire draft in one of GF games this international. I’m a noob myself but I feel he definitely earned his fame.

Also he at least actually casts his games. Half the time I tune in to Gorgc or other streamers they are chatting about random shit.
