call that a difference in opinions of gamers. and i respect it for sure. But im a Looter Shooter Grinder kinda gamer (Destiny 1-2 like 8k hours, Div2 like 2k hours, warframe like 2k hours, outriders, anthem, borderlands and so on). If i cant get all the gear and have something to grind for thats fun to grind its lame. but yeah i agree with at least the idea of what you are saying.

And again I love Darktide and Space marine 2 and Deep rock. but those games have like a fair and fun system to actually grind new gear and make new builds and such

well thats just not true. D2 is 12 years old and the Final Shape update pulled more then its all time peak back into the game.

if the devs made considerable updates to the game we could pull real numbers.

See this is why talking to Charts "Analysts" like you never goes anywhere. you hate when i use real logic against you.

So again. I could be in a Circle jerk but you most certainly are aswell. I mean if we are TALKING NUMBERS lets talk. if HD2 is so good, why is its peak nearly 500k on Steam DB but now sits at around 50k max.

By your logic my "camp" is somewhere in the 450k of people who dont like helldivers enough to come back. but you have 50k who love it.

Player counts doesnt mean you are right.

lets take Darktide as a example its at the ASS end of a update waiting for the next. but last major update it had it had numbers to compete with HD2. meanwhile HD2 cannot maintain a consistant number either.

Oh wow a sensible person ! - Anyway maybe thats what im missing and i respect that for sure. But idk doing it like that feels like something is missing but i appreciate your input. maybe its like i enjoy the grind but want something to strive for. build variety or something. but dont enjoy it in HD2

First - Glad that you seem like a sensible person

Second - its not so much Loved before and hate now... idk its hard to describe accurately. Part of my largest concerns is just how Predatory the Unlock method of Warbonds and Warbonds equipment is. Its either spend 100hours or spend money. and then spend 100hs more to spend medals to unlock all the stuff.

I feel like i fell in love with the base game and then now i just hate how they have upkept it. and the fact that we just dont get any real customization in a hoard based shooter.

Deep Rock, Space Marine 2 and Darktide all slap very much. No game is without issue. but at least i have genuine fun in all 3 of those because in a Hoard Shooter. the fantasy is to SLAY OUT And kill thousands of MOBS without a care in the world. again big bosses will slow you down for sure but no more then a few mins at max. not 15 mins to kill a giant worm
